Do not buy any stove or any product from the Thor company bought a new stove 4 months ago it has not worked in 2 months horrible customer service they will not come fix the stove don't go through what I have been through don't buy from thor
I have an electric slide in range. The oven swings from 328° to 372° when set for 350°. Is there an electric range with more reliable and consistent baking temperatures you recommend? Thank you!
This is actually a very normal range and your oven is operating the way it should. They don’t hold right at 350, they swing up and down…kind of like for an avg temp…now my oven i have to set it to 425 to get it maybe to come up to 350
@@sevalle83 Still difficult for me to believe. Had a technician who works on these tell me +/- 7° was normal. My previous 40 year old oven was more reliable. Thanks!
That makes no sense. If you set it for 350* it should heat to 350* and hold there. My electric oven used to work perfectly but is now doing what you described. Its time for a new oven, unfortunately. I can't cook anything correctly the way it is now.
The best electric range or stove is still far worse than the worst gas range or oven. AND not a fan of electric ignition on gas stoves, pilot lights just work.

Sorry to hear that. I thought it was a good brand. Good luck!
What’s a good 36 inch electric range/oven

It shouldn't do that. Something isn't working rignt. Did it always work that way?
Not true. The temp should hold at what you set it for.
The problem with ALL these ranges is that they come in THREE (3 !!) BORING colors: stainless steel, white, and black. BORING!

Thanks for the feedback. We understand the choice you made is based on your experience.

Gas is not available everywhere
