Will say another great cheap heal, right after like 3 to 5 stacks of tea hit Ess font! For big heals on the bramble. Have like 10 stacks of mana tea drink and then soothing mist and spam vivfy. Just saying to abuse the 50% mana reduction for using the mana tea on top of the mana gained back is op!
Great vid. I am however not getting nearly the same output as you in raid. We have cleared up to 1/9M so far as a guild, but I cant seem to push beyond the 150k overall for a fight. I dont think it is cooldown mismanagement that much since you are pushing out more without really knowing the fights in this vid. Is it really as simple as yulon -> EM spam during damage events?
Yes, Yu'lon + EM on different people (because Yu'lon also breathes on ppl around each target you hit)... But I'll mention a few other things that can hopefully help. I use almost every single Thunder Focus Tea on Essence Font. With Upwelling, that pumps out an absolutely insane amount of HPS. Make sure in between Essence Font and Yu'lon ramps, you are also targeting injured people and starting a Soothing Mist cast + vivify. Even if you just do that 2-second quick combo of Soothing + Vivify, it will also cause your additional Jade Totem to heal them for a few seconds. Finally, once you are done your Yu'lon + EM ramp, you have to cap it off by spamming a few Vivify's... It looks something like this. 1. Yu'lon + EM on 6-8 targets 2. Soothing Mist 1 person and spam Vivify. The reason we do this is because every one of our Enveloping Mists also adds a Renewing Mist. Our Vivify will cleave onto these Renewing Mist targets, giving us a lot more healing. I also take Tear of Mourning instead of Rising Mist for most fights because honestly, I'm not getting into melee range too often on certain fights (like Nymue), and the value from Tear of Mourning is insane.
Great video but I'm curious what you think about with the upcoming nerfs to vilify cleave healing, mana tea reduction. Should we keep similar build that you've listed? Thank you!
That's because normal raid doesn't need too much healing, so this faeline ancient teaching is enough most of the time ! It's incredible especially in aoe situations on trash, but otherwise when you start taking bigger fast damage on the whole raid, it's not enough
It's def great in Normal, but yeah, you need more healing in Heroic and beyond. The 1 exception to this is the Council fight and potentially Tindral. On those fights, I've tried the Chi'Ji Fistweaving build and it works quite well... On Mythic though, that will change again.
@bumblerumbletumble yea I agree with you on that. Even tho essence font and Sheiluns gift can do alot of clutch healing I don't think fae AT could compete in heroic against cloud builds
Resto druid doesn't really play the way you described it anymore in raid. I think you "can" still play it like that, but you're playing resto druid wrong if you do play it that way when you have 2 and 4 set. MW looks very strong though and it one of the other healers i'm picking up since quite a few of them look strong and fun to play.
Shame the build isn't nearly as fun as AT + Chiji 😢 as a longtime MW its bittersweet to see us doing so well but with such a boring build. Unfortunately its part of the reason I skipped mythic raiding this tier
I mean.... It's still very fun to pump healing onto a raid like this when it's required. It feels great to save people's butts like that. I'm pushing mythic raid right now (got 3/9 last night), and the build feels fantastic. You're correct in that it doesn't require too much extra thought (press Yu'lon and go), but it still feels great to do it.
@@ZucoWoW I didn't mean to say yu'lon requires less thought, so apologies if it came out like that (if anything, I found this current build harder because it's pretty easy to mis-time your yu'lon ramp and have your mists fall off too early during a damage event) My gripe with the current build is how it feels in terms of your ability usage Without going TotM anymore (no fishing for RSK resets with TP->BOK), no AT, and with the addition of mana tea, most downtime is channeling your tea or using TP (rarely). Damage events are healed by casting soom -> vivify spam, yu'lon ramp is just hard casting EnvM -> soom -> vivify. It's too much spellcasting, and just isn't as fun as the TotM + AT + Chi-ji build, where you were constantly rotating through TP->BOK->RSK , getting RSK procs, and executing your chi-ji window rotation. You can still go AT with yu'lon like you said in your video, but it just isn't enough for me I guess
@@siyoiii7709 I hear ya for sure... I think Blizz has a difficult job with healers, and they tend to try their best to provide builds that work in Raid and different builds that work in M+. Certainly Teachings of the Monastery is more geared towards M+ because it helps provide extra damage (and healing), which isn't generally required in raid, but is VERY helpful in M+. Adding 30-50k dps over the course of a dungeon can be the difference between timing it or not. In this current raid, my experience has been that the fights demand a lot of healing, more-so then previous raids this expansion. Which is fantastic!! That need for more healing automatically pushes MW away from Teachings of the Monastery and towards a more caster-oriented build imo. If there were more fights with consistent adds, I think MW could absolutely more towards the other build, but there just isn't.

Can you please make a video what trinkets are best for healer as monk , including waycrest combo and everyting
mistweaver is so fun healer, cant wait to gear mine up
I was healing 80k at ilvl 430 with normal mistweaving with no melee.

I saw your reply in the last comment. My bad for not scrolling down far enough!
Mist-Knitter is my favourite spec
for me , healer need to have a good dps. Atm i can do 200khps for 50kdps but i guess 250k hps with 70k dps is possible with good's trinkets
I miss Jade Lightning and tiger jade tiger

Nerf next week
Yep, the nerf is in now, and it's absolutely fine. MW will still be pumping in both M+ and raid.
