UK Mind Matters Health Fair 2024 - Lecture by Dr. Robert Slocum, PhD

Today at the Sanders-Brown Center on Aging annual Mind Matters Health Summit we are privileged to hear from Robert B. Slocum, PhD. Dr. Slocum is the Narrative Medicine Program Coordinator at UK HealthCare. He has earned doctorates in law, ministry, and theology. Dr. Slocum is a member of the Hospital Ethics Committee at UK; holds a black sash (fourth level) in Tai Chi and other internal martial arts; and teaches a Tai Chi class at UK HealthCare.
Dr. Slocum talks to us about the benefits of Tai Chi and Xi Gong and leads us in a fun and easy interactive Tai Chi lesson. If you have always wanted to know more about these martial arts this is the video for you!
