The Baron Call at the end shwoed us the C9 we all love. Jokes aside C9 improved phenomenal today. Deserved Nr. 2 in Group B. I hope as an western fan the toher NA teams will stop choking now 2 and hopefully more NA and EU teams get out off group.
Wanted Vitality go through the group but C9 deserved the 2nd place. They could win this one but they showed us western teams can also go all the way to the final. Hope TL will wake up, G2 stand up and fnatic don't understimate other teams.

The problem with liquid is I feel they overestimate their opponents too much and therefore can never play the game like how they always do. So this causes them to stumble and drop games. If liquid wakes up and plays how they usually do, guarantee they can make it out of groups.

Without a doubt. C9 deserves everything they did this year. Yes they got meme'd by reddit for the way they benched their starters and used all their rookies. But you know what, they showed they had a plan and the plan worked. They motivated their veterans to play hard and told them your jobs are not guaranteed. You still can improve. Amazing day for C9 and who said NA wasn't going to quarters. Well done Cloud 9.
Hardest game to cheer on... RNG and C9 two favorite teams. What a epic game though. C9 played this really well, so I'm happy with their performance. Kudos to RNG for that late game teamfight, though, they really pulled through.
@@williammcharg4982 wtf. He played amazingly well. Every single teamfight he was superagressive at the same time always being just after the edge of being caught. He only died in the 3 for 1 teamfight but he could have easily gotten away there. Of course a strong syndra have more impact then an adc, even more with the current state of ad carries, but as both Jensen and Mlxg were doing ter best of their champs, uzi was the big differential as he was always way more effective then Sneaky
C9 played very well in this game. As I mentioned before, RNG is still trying to adjust their status. If you don’t pay attention to BP, you will lose it either way! This is a warning to RNG and I do really hope they do understand this in the following games. Pay attention to different strategies and be CAREFUL about the bp! Thank you VIT and C9, you guys showed RNG what they need to do in the following days.

There are plenty of good picks/counter picks this year and thats GOOD for a game that has 130+ champions and 100+ items. No game should be won just because of having a champion on your team with a single item thats needed. This meta is the best meta ever at worlds.

Great game with so many back forth. Uzi is just too good though, his positioning is amazing. I'm a bit concerned for RNG though. Even now, it seems that they only really win off the back of Uzi. If another team comes along that can shut him down, I think RNG is done. Aside from that, you have teams like KT where every member can carry which gives them such a wide range of playstyle.
C9 should have went baron RIGHT after they won that teamfight. Syndra was oom and if Aatrox tp'd in he would've just died instantly from cc. They decided to baron so late, syndra had time to base and come back and aatrox even had time to push his lane a bit before the TP force. C9 threw that so hard.
Why did C9 go for baron with 3 members alive an no smite when Letme was respawning and Xiaohu was there rather than just take top tier 2 and pressure the inhib turret? They don't need baron to win, they have a stronger scaling comp and were already winning team fights. Get the guaranteed gold and build a bigger advantage. I know that isn't where C9 lost, but there was no reason to waste the teamfight win to get absolutely nothing.

imo you shouldn't relay on group stage, Bo1 games tell you little about teams and regions real strength. In Bo5, west have no chance vs. Asia

i saw that lol. Jensen was channeling the exp to someone when rakan jumped on him lol. In the very last fight
He clicked on Thresh by accident which activated his passive, which kept him in place for a Rakan flash ult.

Those spawn timers, you shouldn't be able to run down 4 towers, an inhibitor and the Nexus in one ace
