Kurtis Blow live performance of "The Breaks" in Sydney + interview

Famed American rapper and producer Kurtis Blow brought his 30th Anniversary Tour of "The Breaks" to Sydney venue Tone in Surry Hills last week, thanks to promoters Way2Fonky and Blunted. For more than three decades Kurtis has been one of Hip Hop's most highly regarded artists and proved he still has the skills to blast a party with his level of enthusiasm, energy and upbeat charisma.
Film director Daniel Taylor and interviewer Joe Laney meet up with Kurtis shortly before his performance to retrace his early years, talk about defining musical influences, Kurtis's thoughts on contemporary Hip Hop and a new musical collaboration with DJ tomekk (Germany).
