Olly being a childish, inquisitive, playful pup in need of attention no matter age or circumstance whilst Albert being his adult, mature all-knowing self is tolerating the younger generation brat. If Albert could speak, he could sound like adults complaining about my generation when I was young.
Hello, Please, you Americans, stop calling this dog "Bernese Mountain dog", that's just too ridiculous. It is absolutely not his name. The word "Bouvier" (in French) or "Senne" (in German) means cow keeper. The REAL name of this dog in English is therefore "Bernese Cattle Dog" He is a wonderful dog and I believe he has the right to be called by name. Thanks for him.
It is called Bernese Mountain Dog in the UK too. I have never heard this breed called Bernese Cattle Dog. The dog used to work in dairy farms pulling carts so I am not sure cattle dog would be an accurate neme for the breed.
