You are concise, informative and simple without being simplistic. Outstanding Compared to Vaillant’s instruction booklet which is bloated, over technical and and hard to follow.
This has been so helpful since moving into our new home, thank you - the comfort setting has been costing us and didn't even know about it. All I need to do now is find a user manual for the Danfoss RX1 box underneath it - no idea what this is for or how to use it!!!

Changed my heating to be on all the time in day time, just going off at bed time. On a mild winter day I can keep it running all day at around 45 degrees. When it comes on in morning it takes longer to warm house up, so I turn it up to 55, then down to 45 after a while.
Excellent , and easy to understand. I have to admit, that my Vaillant ( this model ) has not been as reliable as a Rolls Royce, which is what i was told, this brand was. Regular servicing didn't seem to guarantee performance or reliability.
We keep our central heating temperature at 50°c and it slowly heats up the house just fine, we simply had to adapt our thermostat timings so that it can have more time to get to the target temperature
This is a very good video! Thanks! I have a question. On our vaillant thermostat in our living room the display says it’s in summer mode. But if I check the boiler there is no “umbrella” summer symbol. How can I change it to winter? I can’t change it on the thermostat. Thanks in advance.
My Valiant boiler similar model to this one, says 56-58c with static "Comfort" displayed. My taps and radiators are set for 50,55 respectively so I don't understand why it's this hot
Great video. At night I've noticed the boiler seems to fire up every 20 to 30 minutes for 20 to 30 seconds at a time. Why is this and can you turn it off.
Great video and it help a lot to work in this boiler. Mark would like to ask you, how we can take the spanner symbol off in this boiler? Even when they are serviced or have been serviced they like to show spanner symbol and it is nightmare take the symbol off. Could you help me or us in this with One video showing the process? The temperature display continues to flash after changing it. if I press the right button it just goes to the comfort setting. If I just leave it to set itself, it never does. Am I missing something?
Hello, I have a problem... once a day the maximum flame turns on and burns for a few seconds, heating the water to 80 degrees, then turns off, the temperature drops to 70 and turns on again, and so on many times in a row... and the comfort sign flashes... and I turn off the boiler... and then it works as usual...
Firstly it is a combination boiler? Do you have 5 pipes coming off the bottom of the boiler? if you only have 3 then you have a different boiler. You probable have a hot water tank. If so you need your boiler central heating set to 60 degrees. Also check the thermoset on the hot water tank. Should be set between 50 and 60 degrees.

Hey, I don't seem to have 2 handles on the bottom of my boiler, nor is there a braided wire anywhere else on the system. I can however open 2 valves with a screwdriver, but the pressure doesn't go past 0.2 bar. What am I missing?
Boiler says it's 78c but coming out at the bath tap at 56c, very strange. And saying pressure is 3.7 bar afte central heating has been on for some time

On my Vaillant system the hot water cylinder tank in separate in the garage. It’s heated by gas but is wired in also. I wanted to see the cost difference in heating on electric instead of gas but switching on the electric feed to it seems to make no difference to the gas usage. Do I need to tell the system to use electric instead of gas for the hot water?
Hi Mark.. my boiler is vaillant ecofit pure. Need to pressurise but the valve is very tight and will not turn....😢..the hot water valve. Please anyway to loosen the valve so I can turn the know. Thanking you in advance

It's just goes to high flame 🔥 and cuts out to the set heating temperature ie 60°C and cuts out then the temperature drops down to 34 °C and then its start again its keep on doing this the central heating system works fine and the radiator gets hot but the boiler is not going to the low flame? Hi, thank you for the video. I recently bought a Vaillant EcoTec plus boiler which has been set to weather dependent mode by the installer. At the moment I often have the problem that due to this setting, the temperature of the target flow is rather low which causes the room to stay half a degree below the setpoint while the pump keeps going. After a while the radiators are cold but the pump is still running because the setpoint isn't reached. Could u tell me how I can switch the control to a fixed target flow temperature like u use in the video? Thx in advance!
I have a EcoTec Plus 837. The rads are not getting hot enough after changing the thermostat. The flame candle on the left hand side is really low. Any ideas what it could be?
My Vaillant ecotec plus doesn't have loads of pipes and valves underneath. Just 2 thick pipes with a blue and red big knob on the pipes.. i tried switching it the other way but nothing Happens. So how do i top it up ???
My boiler came fitted with Neomitis controls which have no provision for timed on off periods. The 'smart control' is tied to background temperature so if it's a cold night the boiler will work on the temperature differential and turn on anything up to three hours before the time you want for desired room temperature. This is all very well, but gas is so expensive that I have to resort to turning the heating control off every night and on again in the morning when I get up, this works ok but is a ruddy nuisance.

Mark very useful video. My problem is I've no tap icon on the display. It's nor showing and my water lukewarm. Any ideas?

Our Boiler is like this but has a rectangular button with arrows. What's this for? It doesn't mention it in the user manual.

This boiler is connected to a device that sends a WiFi signal to the thermostat does this burn a lot of energy?

What happens when you don’t have the handles because mine has none
When I went to change the temperature of my water. It said it was turned off. Is that normal? Its a new boiler we have never changed the temperature
When I press the radiator button the display goes straight to pressure and doesn’t allow changed to the heating temperature, why is this?
