Borgs who start killing and disobeying their laws = shit Borgs who overhear security talking about executing an antagonist, so they stage a jailbreak to obey their laws = based
Great round to watch! Does make me glad this sort of round isn't _that_ common on Fulpstation, since the closer an antag's goals are to "kill everyone" and when there are fewer, superpowered antags, that tends to not play as fun overall (since players are knocked out of commission brutally). Game's strength is definitely in all the interconnectedness between all the different systems, and then having a few spicy antags disrupting a few of those systems (and then perhaps even more importantly: each of those individual jobs is a really deep game just by itself). Still, I think there's room for things like war ops (nukies with a loud public declaration that this is a killmonger round) since that at least gives everyone time to prepare and to realize they have a clear objective (kill the nukies) since the ambiguity of the wizard is why every person on the station wasn't running up to chip away at your health at every opportunity. But again, tons of fun to watch rounds like this from the perspective of one of the only players who got to have fun. ;)
Had my first ever wizard round recently and got hijack on icebox. Made a build similar to this but with a laughter demon instead of an apprentice. Definitely a great one, and ended up winning because of it. Voidtouched Larry Major.
Niiiiiice. Tip: You can click+drag your spells to be closer to the center of your screen, so that your mouse doesn't have to go as far to reach them (or to come back from clicking on them). I usually arrange my spells and changeling abilities in a circle with a radius of about 2.5 tiles, aiming to position them on tile corners so that they can't hide people behind themselves. I'm surprised you took The Traps! (instead of, say, Knock, or a staff of healing), seeing as how you had an apprentice who wasn't immune to it, but hey, it looked like that worked out for you quite nicely. I'm also surprised that you didn't check the captain's backpack for a teleporter beacon- if I had been that captain, I'd have kept the beacon from the departure lounge (actually, does Pubby even have a beacon there? I forget) in my backpack and told another crew member to teleport to that beacon at the last moment to ruin your hijack.
I know about unlocking action buttons, I just don't really care enough to move 'em since i'm used to them being up top. But I appreciate the tip. I took The Traps instead of another utility spell 'cause they were an alien alloy golem that could only cast fireball - healing didn't matter and they can fireball when stunned anyways. I'm pretty sure the captain intended on bringing a beacon on board but they either didn't find one or the AI was too slow at opening the teleporter or something, but the thought did cross my mind.
@@MelbertSS13 Fair enough. Still, you might want to train yourself to get used to it, as it REALLY makes a difference for aimed spells like Fireball (and for changeling stings), sort of like how hotkeys REALLY make a difference for flashes, batons, and shovestun->cuffings. The staff would have been less for the golem and more for you, but yeah, I think you made the right call there.

LOL that captain in the end proved to be a badass. Only wish he turned his chair around to face you when you saw him 😂
My favorite player was the chad captain. That fight was tense. He just tried to be sneaky on that chair too.
I imagine it more like a "I was awaiting you, Mr. Bond" kind of scene. Captain really should have had a whiskey glass in one hand.
Are we going to talk about the chad that was laughing because he was set on fire, and used that as an opportunity to set the wizard on fire?
