- This is by far the best results that I have achieved with coloring my locs! Now that Spring is here and Summer is around the corner, I decided that it's time to change up my hair color again. You'll see what I did differently this time as opposed to the first time that I dyed my locs (video linked down below for reference).

The 40 developer you used in the back made ur locs i believe the brightest and the 30 in the front didn't. It still came out pretty

I thought you do roots last?
You do ☺️. However, if I remember correctly… I wanted the color to pop more on my roots when I colored my hair this round. So that’s why I switched it up.

Hi I know I’m late but if I already had bleached hair and it turned light brown can I still do this ? Or are all these steps even needed ?

Was your hair wet first? Did you use bleach? Why did you use Vaseline?
Hey hun, No my hair wasn’t wet first. Make sure that you wait until after you’ve applied the color to wash your hair. I used 30 volume developer to lift my hair color instead of bleaching it. The Vaseline was used as a protective mechanism so that the products wouldn’t stain or irritate my skin. Hope this helps ☺️.
