Hitomi, I adore you, and I'm so happy you guys are enjoying your time in Switzerland! However- please, please don't underestimate the mountains. Maybe it's because I'm Norwegian and these are my parents' words, but that hike made me anxious. You should not feel cold while hiking, that means you're not wearing enough layers. Especially if you're sleeping on the ground, and especially if you're already tired and sleep deprived! Several people die this way every single year. Losing the trail is an accident that can happen to anyone, but that's why it's even more important to have the appropriate equipment. 🙏

Blue markings in Switzerland mean alpine treks, no trail, steep drop-offs, potential climbing sections and risk of falling. It’s really important to know the signs, as well as the length and altitude of the hike, this one was a really tough one ❤
I was thinking the same thing. Who starts a trail without knowing what the length of 20km means?

when I say crows hold such healing ancestral medicine, it's crazy! when I see birds I feel deeply to look up, as well as, expand (black birds representing subconscious depth). I am glad you both will always remember this, crows also have trickster energy so you'll be healing with this medicine for a while 😂❤

What a beautiful brilliant video this was. I was doing the same thing last October, exploring and hiking the Swiss Alps for a few weeks. I was in Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald and it was truly breathtaking. I love being in the mountains, but for me going back down is much harder than going up. I feel stronger going up but I have deep fear of falling down the mountain to my death whenever I descend. My palms and soles of my feet got real sweaty watching you walk some steep trails without any ropes or anything. There were also times I lost the trail, which was a bit scary. Hiking taught me so many beautiful life lessons, such as how supportive the Earth is, how profound it can be to go off track, how important it is to be mindful, present, and regularly confirming that you're on the track you want to be on, how it may be a lot of tough work to climb up but falling down can happen in a second, how the right shoes for the occasion is SO essential, so many more.....thank you for reminding me of this. I feel so good being taken back to my times in beautiful healing nature, and having been home in NYC the last few months, I feel a very deep almost urgent need to return to the forests and mountains. Your content is sublime. Thank you for showing up as your truest most divine self, Hitomi

I’m so glad both of you were so calm in what was undoubtedly a scary few hours finding your way back to the path.
It’s a beautifully made video of awe inspiring natural landscapes and the depth of human experience in a world we are blessed to call home.
It’s important for viewers to understand the message of embracing challenge but equally important to not skim over the reality of heading into remote, extreme environments. Ensuring you are fully equipped with all weather clothing (weather on the mountain can go from blazing sunshine to aggressive hail very quickly for example), strong shoes, first aid, water, nutritious, energising food, emergency shelter/ supplies and orienteering equipment. A physical map & compass hasn’t been shown in the video so far, please never rely entirely on gps and phones, you must be physically able to orienteer & reference yourselves at all times.
You are incredibly lucky to have found yourself in a best case scenario outcome on the mountainside 🩵🩵🩵

Curious question, how did you film some of these shots? did you put the camera down, film and walked and then came back to get it? I cant help but think of how this was filmed, the dedication & time! Its like watching a hiking documentary! the shots are so amazing and cinematic wow
Maybe they used a dron. What an amazing footage they make!!
No, it couldn't be like that. How could they handle all shooting process along that steep trail. It must be third person shooting. Just my opinion.
You leave the camera filming on the tripod and then go back to get it, yes it takes a long time! That might be why they keep not finishing these hikes and turning back or camping on the trail!
Heya- maybe you did listen to the crow and it's good you guys didn't head up there at that time. I do think all things fall in place the way they should. I am beyond amazed at you two's resiliance. 20km in the swiss alps is incedible. I love to know that you guys are in my homecountry, send my love to the mountains.

We were in Swiss last April and watching you got lost in trail while hiking were exact same thing happened to us. Except that we were driving and to be in a car on a tiny (unseen) road really is scary. So glad you’re back and safe! The sound of the cow bell really does bring back good time while we were there.
