Catching up to these guys in the curves, on a Stelvio! With paniers on!!! A very well deserved nickname. As a fellow Guzzi rider, I am in awe. Thanks and bravo!
I'm watching this video looking at the bare, cumbly dirt and rock shoulders and looking for any place in the road that might have that loose debris in one of those turns, and I keep thinking to myself, "Oh, H3ll no"!
Yes! It scares me watching this video but the good news is the pegs touch down first and that is the max tilt warning before hard stuff starts scraping!! 😗
the nice thing is that the pegs drag just prior to the bags touching down. So thats my warning not to push it any farther!! 😁. Plenty of peg dragging going on though!!
Here is what I would say. All things being equal, the logical, rational, and practical approach would be to go with the GS. I plan on keeping the Stelvio for a year or two and then looking for a good clean 1250GS. Not that being said, a comparable Stelvio is probably half the money. As you can see, it is a great handling bike with a exhaust note that is a symphony. I've seen 75,000 miles on them as I travel around. But parts might be a little challenging depending on what you need. Parts on the GS are plentiful. But the Stelvio oozes character. It's just cool where the GS is so common, its almost boring. It is as comfortable as a GS but is taller and a little heavy in traffic. All in all both are highly recommended. I hope that helps! 😁
If you know these roads you know they're cooking. The track you ride on is significantly wider with none of the consequences of a mistake and significantly less debris. But yeah, I'm sure you and your SV would rock these cats.
@thepassionofthegoose5472 I also have a gsxr 1000 but my point is an sv could keep up and I'm watching the Speedo. Try filming next time without such a wide angle lens and with more steady camera so not to exaggerate
Riding at ten tenths on the track with a single lane, blind corners, oncoming traffic and other unknowns takes skills and usually means not riding at the limit. Chill out keyboard Rossi.
Not to rain on anyones parade but general rule is whatever the speed limit says you should be able to easily double it with +10-15mph over that. That’s clipping at a fast pace. Most I saw was double and then sometimes 2-3 over the double. Like a lot of things in life everything is relative. What is fast to one is not fast to another. Keep having fun and be safe out there.

Grazie Mille! I also own a v11 Rosso Corsa which you will be seeing at some point.
Great maestro, and great moto guzzi!
smooth = fast
It's not the Bike,it's the Rider ✅️
Look who's the Daddy now 😅
I like that shot at the end of the video 🤠🔥
That voice sounds familiar somehow!! 😁

so close to scraping the luggage, might be a few scuffs. 🤣

Smooth and cool as a cucumber. I think I saw him "drag trunk" a time or two. Nice...

Moto guzzi, an all capable machine, and in the right hands, an absolute weapon.🤩🤩
He rides it like a Supermoto. You better have a soft Edge on those tires
Michelin Road 6.
Grande maestro 💪🏻
Hello maestro! One question, gs1200 or stelvio??? Greatings from Greece

Great riding! Which road/section was that? TIA
Angeles Forrest Highway northbound
@@themaestro1881Thanks!
He rides like a trained police rider.
The bags hanging of the sides act like pole that tightrope walkers use,so no wonder he got good ballance
Shhhhh! Don't give away my secrets!! 🤣
Great rider!
Agostini ?
The Stig! 😄😄
good one
I ride the same way on my ktm 1190adv
they don't call him meastro without a reason after all, eh?
Nice lines.
Reminds me a bit like the Cherahaola. Mostly fast sweepers.

Sadly, you eventually grow out of this. Or worse, you're forced out. Enjoy this important pursuit while you can.
Those bikes are waist on you lot. I could do that on an sv650 and I'm not a fast rider (middle of intermediate on track)

Yeah ya''ll is riding fast and looks like the speed on the video is turned up.

Very true. Its all relative.
