Just upgraded my old Play:1s for a pair of Era 100s and man! I can defiantly hear a difference. Much fuller sound, more vibrancy, and just a cleaner overall more refined sound. They're set up as my rears right now and sound incredible. And even better when playing music.
I went from the one sl to era 100, there is definitely a difference. The one sl as surrounds i could hardly tell were working audio was sloghtly there the era 100 there is no doubt
Love my 100s a great upgrade from the one. Better bass better mid-range cleaner vocals wider sound stage. Use with beam gen 2 and sub. After upgrade and selling the old speakers it cost me about $70 per speaker to upgrade. Replaced them in one room did the other room same setup within a few days. 😊😊 music only.
have two ones along with Sonos Arc and Sonos mini sub. For me, this configuration is great, as the sound quality is very good. I think it only makes sense to replace my Sonos One's if I'm going to purchase the Era 300, because between the era100 and One, the sound quality is very identical, perhaps it's only possible to see the difference if you put the two working side by side, but in real world it's not worth the upgrade, unless you don't have the Sonos one, in which case I'd buy the Sonos era 100.
I have a smaller living room (16 ft x 15 ft), and I’m looking to add a vinyl turntable with stereo speakers, solely for that room (I have Sonos Ones throughout other rooms in the home, including home theater/sound bar setup in a separate room). Question: Would you recommend a pair of era 100’s OR era 300’s, solely for the purpose of a living-room vinyl stereo (music-only) setup? Alternatively, would a pair of Sonos Fives be the better option? Thanks!

Just dot rid of my 4 play 1s yesterday. Era 100s are ol sale for 199.00 right now. perfect timing to get rid of the old ones.

nice info...i just bought 2 Era 100s ....will SELL my 2 Play ones....keeping my Sonos toal to ::::12 ..yes i am a Snosphile😅
