MAGDOG TV, I appreciate your projections and opinion, but I disagree with your starting RBs to a minimum degree. My opinion is that I have both Dylan Edwards and Alton McCaskill both starting at RB, alternating. I also have Sy'veon Wilkerson and Micah Welch both playing on short yardage and perhaps 3rd downs. Dylan is to small to be a full time RB right now, he will get run over by big linemen. Also, I absolutely don't see Lajohntay Wester ever playing RB that will not happen, he will play to his strength, receiver and as you said kick returner perhaps. Keep bringing it brother love your content. Thank you as always.
Put some respect on #3. I thought he was small too , but he picked up middle linebackers on the blitz all last season. He might be small but can cut block his ass off 😂
@@ajcampbell2023 Believe me my brother I have much love for Dylan and he's a dog. Reality is for real, to many of those LB blocks he will find himself injured. Now we don't want to see that happen. Thanks for your message and appreciate your thoughts.
Sir you are doing your thing with this off season content! Keep it coming! Your list is on point. Last season they abandoned the run because the OL was getting pushed into the backfield before the handoff. So I’m excited to see them this year get an opportunity to show what they can do. They all will eat!
No questions ask Edwards in the starting line up..your assessment is on point with McCaskill an knock on his ability to start however we know is he 100% ready to go..McCaskill skill will make this offense much better..but for now you have to put a question mark next to his name..it’s my hope that Shurmur want be timid to have an open run style offense..we know the ball will be aired out however you can’t become predictable..Wilkerson will get his playing time and gradually insert Micah into your game plan..great assessment MadDog ..🦮
Maddog rechecked Wilkinson, he had over 1k yards at Jstate. We got to remember no running back did anything with that line😢That why Smoke was crying about he waisted a year
The competition wasn't the problem, no back could be good behind a rag doll line. That's what they looked like getting thrown around, when they weren't standing around
I was soo disappointed with this room last year, the coaches didn’t use there talents at all, I’ve been waiting since last year for them to take the leash off mcaskill
@@ajcampbell2023 I agree Lewis was horrible or was it intentional..Colorado looked like the best team in the country after TCU..after CSU game something went horribly wrong..When your OC get demoted that’s saids a lot
What I believe is it would be a great thing for Floyd Mayweather jr to talk with these young men. Hard work and dedication is what makes people a Prime time player.
I'm pretty sure he looked at their star rating and ranked them according to that rather then watch any of them play. Alton, Sy'veon, Dylan are the top three in that order. If they give the RB enough carries the top two are work horse type backs. Won't be surprised to see Sy'veon at the one spot or even transfer if he's not starting. Dylan is your athlete that will play rb/wr, not the type you can just line up and run between the tackles, at this point of his career, all game, which will be the bulk of where the carries will go.
What I believe about these kids is they got lost in the publicity of coach Prime. They don't realize coach Prime worked hard to get everything he has. Just like all of them must do to be excepted to the big dance.
IMO the use of the RBs come down to much bigger issues. How we recruited and played last year and how this off season hype has begun, it appears that we are going all-in on the passing game and making S2 a Heisman winner. If this is the case then expect high passing numbers and play calling. I don’t think this is the best way to win a ton of games but I also understand why Prime would want his son to finish his career with a Heisman trophy and go on as the #1 draft pick. In the perfect world, he does all this and we win big games
Wow !!! Question !!! Have you gone .......mad !!! Dog !!! Where do I start TF. Dude, the total disrespect of Sy'veon Wilkerson. The veteran workhorse for Coach Prime last two seasons. Jackson St. / Colorado. Firstly, speed isn't the only element that makes you a valuable player at the running back position. ie ; Jerome Bettis, Earl Campbell, Frank Gore, and Eddie George. All these RBs are HOF'ers not known for having blazing speed. However, these guys were durable. Durability & Experience is what Sy'veon Wilkerson has that'll give him the best odds at finishing the strongest 2024 season. Example : Let's take a look at McCaskill had a great season his freshman year. Fast as lightning quick on his feet has all the flash and cuts sees the field well. However, has missed almost two seasons. But Sy'veon been 90 - 100 percent last 3 seasons. McCaskill not so much, once Dylan take some "Welcome to D - 1" hits for a full season. Carrying the load like Sy'veon has done. At that time, we can certify his durability. After 7 games this season, it just maybe Sy'veon Wilkerson who happens to be the RB that'll be healthy enough to carry the team. Down the stretch fighting for a spot in the NCAA playoffs. Let's see what you'll be saying at that point of 2024 season. Sy'veon Wilkerson durability, experience, and determination will play a vital role this season for the Buffs. Especially with the new potentially becoming top picks in the NFL draft OL. The best RB will be the ones. Who can stay healthy is potentially the best, not only the one whos the fastest.
Alto is a starter not backup. You just said he ran 5 yards a carry… at not 100%… wtf does that tell you? He’s that guy! Even this off season, people were mentioning how Alto went crazy on them when they played him in Houston. He already said he’s at 100% now. No reason why he shouldn’t be named the starter
Edward's will not be the starter. By saying that, let me know you do not know what the hell you're talking about. I stop watching after that. McCaskill will be the starter
Bruh Ian gone lie it’s your opinion but my boy no way you put that freshman over Wilkerson Wilkerson a beast wait to you see him with a good oline and alto good he healthy wait to spring ball then you can say your opinion wait till they put on them pads
Wilkerson is wayy better than Mika Welch. The problem with the Colorado offense was the offensive coordinator and the play calls and Shadeur backpedaling with stage fright and not making quick decisions with the ball and then Pat Shumur came in and did not do much better. Im not sure what Coach Prime was thinking when he hired Pat Shumur
I love you’re work Mad Dog but Dylan even with gaining 15 lbs he’s to undersized too much of a liability blocking. I think Alton Mccaskill and the new incoming Freshman Mikal Welch. I see Dylan being more of a 3rd down back put in slot
Wilkerson ain’t that good. Colorado has become a team that’s not just spinning it’s wheels. Be aggressive and play ball, thats it. That’s all it is to it
Alton Walter McCaskill IV IS THE BEST COMPLETE RB IN CU!!! He has had 22 & 23 to fully recover HE is 100%.. he is RB1…

Thanks alot Cleo!! You have great points, yes I had to throw in Lajohntay just to be creative. It will take a Lane Kiffin style play caller to do so
I believe that Dylan may be vulnerable to picking up blitzes and possibly could get overpowered by the more prominent, speedy Linebackers.

Listen I watch this man Wilkerson @ j-state..let that man get behind that new line that boy is like bowling ball!!! He legit!!
Alton starting ill bet on it
Wilkerson was running behind a weak offensive line. I believe his numbers will be better this year if given a chance.
Correct
Too slow
He had 1 good game and that was the first game of the season
And it was receiving yards not from running out the backfield

Edwards to small to start, McCaskill shld be the starter tape don’t lie, if healthy!
#22
ALTON WILL START
He had one good year 3 years ago.
Dylan Eduardo’s got pontentiap to be like Warrick Dunn
