- Yes, I know! I already uploaded a papaya time lapse in the past, but so many of you told me you hated all the fruit flies on it, and I agree. This version has no fruit flies at all :) (except for maybe 2-3 during the 37 days of filming)
So here you go, papaya time lapse over the course of 37 days - no fly zone

Papaya fun fact:
Papayas contain an enzyme called papain, which is otfen used as a meat tenderizer. So, if you accidentally drop a piece of meat in your papaya salad, it might end up tenderized!

Whose comment should I pin to the top? Best comment gets pinned
oh btw like share sub :):):)
Wish it could be me, but i have nothing interesting to say soo
your comment is the best comment
What item took the longest to rot/decompose?
Do you put this stuff in the compost or smth?
You should try it with a whole meal one day like meat, rice and vegetables in a plate with a fork and everything, a glass of wine and a dessert😄
I was expecting big hulking mass of a spider to go scurrying across the decomposing papaya. It was a pleasant surprise to see such a little guy. Great video!
What a plot twist that would be lol
Lol i was expecting that too-
I really like your pfp

All hail to the "mysteriously appeared out of thin air"- spider!
I always appreciate your effort to make good content, and it's a pleasure to see how much you've improved too. Also, I love papaya (and I love melon as well).
Another fantastic video! Talking of spiders, that papaya looked like a dead tarantula by the time you went in!
I don't understand how u don't have millions of subscribers yet...I just love ur videos❤❤
Thank you so much! We are not that far off from the 1M, sooner or later....
props to the spider 🕷️ 👍🏻
spider: *heyyy 😎*
Whenever i see papaya i think of Katara going "Awww i hate papaya..."
Thank you for making these videos!!
As always, great video! Nice background music choice!
Thank you!
@astronautnr Love Your pfp
@@kentnorthrop865 XD, thanks!
didn't know papayas went THAT bad THAT fast!
Wow man this an awesome timelapse video I love it.😃👍❤️
I’ve never tried a papaya 🫣
You've never tried papaya? You have to, it's delicious
i hate papaya tbh
I may have had it as part of a fruit salad, but not by itself.
@@PhotoOwl I definitely will have too
It Can smell and taste gross tbh
I hope we can get this man To 1 Million Subs, he deserves it
At the end it looks like a deep dark forest, something like from Lord Of The Rings.
I love this channel
Here for the algorithm!
Loving the timelapses!
i wouldn't touch that even with gloves lmfao
It's good info to have if you're ever stranded somewhere and pick a papaya off the tree and try to survive a few days on it. My grandpa grew a papaya tree before and the fruit was so heavy it kept bending the trunk.
This is amazing
I have the feeling that it lasted more than the one that I have in the fridge.
Damn lucky spider, now imagine if the fruit was put in a room with a giant spider. Damn unlucky fruit.
A fine thing to be eating breakfast by!
i dodnt think id like to watch things rot but i like this!! by the end it looks like a miniature swampy forest (?)
The seed sin the papaya looks like boba to me! I never tried a papaya, but clearly not pleasant if the flies don’t like it! 😂
Omg, those spores. I'm coughing just watching.
I think it would be cool if you showed what this stuff looks like under a microscope
That little guy🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹
Finally watching a time lapse when i'm NOT eating
Video: "Itsy bitsy spider"
If I were there: *"ÆÆÆÆÆ"*
I really like these timelapse vids. Will you please do a TL of a Sweet Potato? I love Yams so seeing one time lapsed would be neat.
I like your experimental videos and I'm a long-time subscriber, however, I suggest that you add a thermometer gage to the screen so we would know the temperature during your taping as you may know that different temperature makes the time lapse vary.
I love your videos, they are very interesting and entertaining 👍 :)
Awesome content, could you make a time lapse of a vegetable in an vacuumed space? Would be interesting how it reacts in an anaerobic space
Side by side comparison w/one left on the counter
do another one, on soil. papayas sprout and grow incredibly easy
Still sees flies
1:31 Ohhh he's such a cutie
Shoutout to the cameraman for staying up for months 🗿
So glad to be able to watch it as a video and not irl...
Love your vids. Glad that internet can't transfer smell yet
forbidden fluffball jumpscare moment 🥐
One lil' spider
once you stare long enough it looks like a new world loading
the seeds be triggering my trypophobia
Fungus starts to grow 1:14
Skippin 10 sec
Oooh , its been a long time
2:20 idk why this is satisfying to me.
as always nice video....🎉🎉🎉
Everything goes back to nature!
i was expecting the spider to eat the whole thing
Your videos are amazing, what do you use to rec for long period of time? I’m so curious!
Flies the first two days: 'mmmh what's that today? Uh papaya... Naaah I don't like it"
They loved it when I first filmed a papaya, there were thousands of them
@@PhotoOwl aah strange! Maybe they did indigestion last time and now they don't want it 😂
Looked almost like blue berry pie at the end!
The dislikes are from the flies.
He places the fly and stuff!!!!!!!!
Imagine what bros house smells like 💀💀💀
I can almost smell that green mould
thats just me at 6:00 am on monday mornings
there's no escape from mold spores, they will look for you, they will find you and they will consume you.
Observation:
Mould appears around day 5
(the same as the McDonald's cups)
Prior Signs shown on day 4 but obvious on day 5!
Interesting to observe the consistencies when it comes to Sweet/Fructose based food/drink.
Suggestion: incorporate some Zoomed in/Magnified footage or setup a Microscope.
Edit: Just realised others have suggested the Microscope.
All the best.
From "hiya papaya" to "bye-a papaya" 😢
Can you wait for 365 days and examine the liquid used in electronic cigarettes with a microscope?
I admire your work, I respect you very much, I wish you continued success.
I have a question, what fps do you record at? Is it like 1 frame per minute or something?
1 frame per minute is very rare, only if I know the thing will change fast. I filmed this at 1 frame per 2 minutes, but I usually go for 1 frame per 5 minutes or 1 frame by 10 minutes, but this latter is also rare, because if some quick change happens I won't be able to slow down the footage enough.
2:46 the forbidden pizza
Can you do an mealworms vs paper time lapse? I would like to see one!
Looks like a falling civilization
Imaging you left papaya for 1 month on the desk
Dare ya to eat it now
Jk don't I like your vids and don't want you dying lol
I wouldn't dare to eat it, I like to live :D
I don’t know why but all I could think about when watching this video was if the seeds would germinate after all that mold.
Damn
Now my appetite is lost
May I ask what camera type and lamp (for the light) you use for these timelapses?
The life and death of a trilion fungae, birth of a doomed civilization only less than us by our counting.
The smell on your warehouse should be awful running all these timelapses 😅
Well, you are kinda right, it's not nice. But probably not as bad as you think it is
Lol my dad loves papayas, so if he watched this video he would cry
yippe!!!!
سبحان الله i bought apaya for the first time and waited for dt to ripen but wasnt sure wether I waited for too long by accident and thought maybe I can see on this channel how a papaya would look at its best
Anyone else think the seeds looked like Tribbles at the end?
damn
❤
I would love to know how much humidity you have where you live? Ps Thankyou you sir are a genius
👏👏
Can do you make the video, where fruits be in vacuum?
Still waiting for the human body decomposing video
I demand an update on the spider.
yummy
Can you try do a Sterile Tim elapse ? Mold and fungi always end up in your videos of course, But can you try like aseptic technique and leave something that could otherwise rot, in a jar of water or something. and then see if it's slower. with the aseptic and maybe like cling-film covering ? or after like 30 days if its still clear and not rotting, Then post results pls ? or see if it slows it down alot ? maybe run a control beside it ?!?! please and thank you, awesome vids, me and my down syndrome friend love your videos
Time lapse* and I’m his friend. He is just jealous of my grammar skills. 🥰😍❤️🔥💋💕😘
Nem is gondoltam volna, hogy magyarok vagytok, de a Coca Cola-s videóban a ‘zéró cukor’ elárult titeket😂 amúgy nagyon jók a videók, így tovább!
So…Papaya
so... papaya
It turned into a mold pizza
Did you generate a spider? Or are your time lapses out in the open? Not sealed?
May 18 2023
Do pomegranate if you haven already
I’m blind, I didn’t see a spider 👀
Please, make corpse decaying time lapse
That is just what happends when you get older 🌝🌝
Shipwrecked!
Try in a sanitizing chamber or something no insects or mold can get on it
Not really possible to eliminate all microorganisms. Mold will grow no matter where it is.
@@jeffryejeffrye we will find out
I'm 54 yo and I have never liked Papayas, Thank you for reinforcing the dislike.
yummy brown goop🤤
