Welcome to the REMusical Predictions, where truth is stranger than fiction!
In the decade of its existence, there has been an array of similarities between the REMusicals and official Resident Evil releases. While these "predictions" are likely nothing more than crazy coincidences, this was a topic that felt interesting and fun enough to showcase nonetheless.
This style of video will not be replacing regular animations. This is more of a one-off experiment that I've wanted to make for a long time, and wound up being even more fitting to make, what with the announcement of the Resident Evil 2 REmake. So if this type of video doesn't suit you, don't worry, regular animations are already in progress!
This video does not intend to claim that the REMusicals were the first and/or only videos to predict concepts from the Resident Evil franchise. If you've ever created fan content that also wound up "predicting" something from Resident Evil, feel free to share your story in a comment.

ShadowLeggy, of course for me personally there is nothing new in terms of knowledge of the Universe RE No, but still performed perfectly. Rarely you can see a good description of all the characters and correctly mention the characters and games from which they came. From me 10 out of 10 points). I will definitely share this video in my social groups)

I initially made this RUclips account for the sole purpose of subscribing to your channel and I'm still here. It's insane to look back on all those animations and see those dates. Just the fact that RE6 was as far back as 2012 was a whirl for me. What a ride.

God...I remember watching this channel back in 2006...I just discovered this and had a WAVE of nostalgia. I'm glad to see that this channel is still active and the quality has improved a lot over the years PLUS I MISSED THIS CHANNEL THANK U FOR CONTRIBUTING TO MY CHILDHOOD
I still remember this channel as one of the first i had ever watched and one of the first ive ever subscribed to along with director ben, its nice seeing that ya still up and making videos.

Whoa okay, since many people are already getting upset about my opinion of RE2make's over-the-shoulder camera: It's simply that - my opinion. I don't intend to force anyone to agree with me, and certainly do not aim to insult anyone who doesn't mind the change. I just wanted to express myself in an angry / comedic manner as seen in previous animations such as _"Resident Evil 5"_ and _"No Hope Left"._ If you're new around here, this type of reaction is par for the course when it comes to this channel.
So that being said, yes I am personally disappointed the RE2make did not follow suit as with the original REmake. That doesn't mean I'm not going to give the game a chance, but I'm not going to sit here and pretend I'm 100% satisfied either. If you're excited for RE2make, then I'm honestly happy for you. So c'mon guys, the community here is better than this.
ShadowLeggy i mean I definitely will miss the old school style of cameras, but i do think like its way way too late for them to try and bring them back :(
This was literally me with my friend group. Nobody besides me thought that the Re4 camera style was an issue. I felt kind of betrayed but oh well, opinions
This is the game that says to me they will never consider fixed camera. I think OTS has its benefits but this is the game I really wanted at least an option to see a full triple A game with fixed because of the cinematic and creepy atmosphere it helps to convey, etc. That said I like a lot what I see so far from the remake but I thought there should have been more inclusiveness with older fans in particular who wanted to see it one way, even if we just got some DLC with a fixed perspective.
I don't mind the over the shoulder camera. It's just the modern iteration of Resident Evil nowadays.
It would BLOW my mind if they added a fixed angle camera as an easter egg or a reward for completing the game though

I wouldn’t be too surprised if your Animations did inspire a lot of these in the canon RE universe, as far as I know you’ve been one of the biggest Resident Evil influencers on RUclips. I grew up watching your videos and I have certainly been inspired by your videos to work on my own animations. Thank you for a great childhood!
There have been a couple instances where official Capcom / Resident Evil social media acknowledged my work, but it was mostly just in more recent times, so I really doubt most if not all of the stuff in this video are simply coincidences. But it means a lot to hear that they've influenced you personally, and I hope your own animations have been goin' great!

Yeah... like why though? I probably should've mentioned too how it basically counteracted my RE:Survivor version of shirtless Hunk, but hopefully the drawing got that point across well enough. XD

I was thinking of mentioning that in a small bit or after-credits skit, but it didn't feel "official" enough to include. Though I have seen a lot of fans mentioning how they look similar, so that was pretty amusing. XP
Man... It really brings a tear to my eyes when i realize how much time has passed. Growing up playing and watching RE in all places I could and also listening to REmusicals in afternoons after school during my teenager phase. I'm so happy to see all the improviments and how this community still exist to this day. Leggy, thanks for all your work. Leggy, I have to say, your videos made me a Resident Evil fan. I always thought about playing the games since I didn't know much about them, and when I saw the way you portrayed the characters in your musicals, I was instantly thinking about getting the games. Ever since I played my first RE game, which was RE2, I always came back to this channel to watch your content. After RE, I soon learned about Left For Dead, one of my favorite game series in a while. So thank you, Leggy, for helping me get into the RE fandom and learning about new games. (Also, loved the Snake reference!)

I love the bathroom count in RE1. One in the mansion, three in the guardhouse, and Zero in the labs where most of the people are. Can you imagine the hassle of you are in the labs when your lunch attacks? Also the distance from the kitchen to the dinning room.

There's this RUclips channel called GCN,who are criticizing video games CinemaSins-style,and in their video on Resident Evil 6,there was one scene when the camera was ridiculously close to Leon,to which the narrator said:"Damn,if you're gonna have the camera this close,you might as well make it a FPS"
4 years later,Resident Evil 7 was released,and guess what,it was an FPS

XD I do genuinely think that's still just a coincidence in the end, since it's not a terribly uncommon way for your basic American woman to dress. That being said, it was very endearing when people were theorizing that and even going as far to make fan art around that time!
Another great video. Love the concept of a retrospective video, and I'd even go as far as saying you should do more behind the scenes type videos, maybe even commentary on your older animations, or something like that. Either way, love the video, please keep making such quality content

After being a part of this train for so many years, its really a humorous surprise when a ShadowLeggy joke actually somewhat became Canon. One of the ones I picked up without this video's aid is the bathrooms in the RE 2 remake. I knew about the RE mods for Left 4 Dead 2, but I didn't know RE and Valve did an OFFICIAL collaboration. That's really cool. All I really knew about was the fan made mods, such as the fan recreated campaign stories based on the original RE trilogy.
Speaking of the RE2 remake, the over the shoulder camera doesn't really bother me all that much. I would have preferred a more faithful to the original approach, but it doesn't ruin the experience.
However, there are a couple of things I picked up in that I think could make for some funny material.
For example, I'm both optimistic and amused by the fact Mr. X now has a hat.
Oh nice! Yeah, it's just a shame that the crossover was RE6 exclusive, but what can ya do. It's still pretty crazy but cool that such a crossover happened, because I certainly wasn't the only one who has made a crossover video about that. I'm sure a lot of fans were really excited to see it happen, officially!
That's good that the OTS doesn't completely put you off, part of me honestly wishes I wasn't so uptight about it, but I just have to wait and see more about it. My trust in the whole thing is still pretty wavering. But that hat _is_ pretty funny.
Here's a prediction.. I come back to your channel after a few months to watch what you've uploaded since last time.. end up watching all of these videos mentioned.. (Including the HALLOWEEN SPECIAL) just to see this 8 hours later. I think you're watching this small channels history Leggy!! lol. Loved the videos as always. Montage Rumble 4 was LOOOOOONG OVERDUE! But totally worth it. Now to get that next episode of survivor... ;)

This was such an entertaining video! It's quite obvious that SOME people within Capcom (at least their localization/US offices) keep eyes on your videos. While I doubt that they actively take ideas from you, these coincidences are hilariously suspicious! No doubt a few of these have to be nods towards you/your work.
Yeah, I've actually gotten a handful of shout-outs over the years on official Resident Evil social media, but regardless, I seriously doubt any specific ideas were actually taken! The social media team probably doesn't decide much of anything that goes into the actual games, anyway.
Yeah, most likely. It's pretty common for English localization teams to slip in nods from their communities, but upon skimming through the video again, it seems they really just might all be coincidences. Then again, you've probably been on their radar since Welcome to Africa; s!o who knows haha!

I found this video, rather funny... I've seen all your Resident Evil Videos and never did imagine that you "Somewhat predicted" everything, albeit just being a funny coincidence like you said. But boy, seeing short clips of your old videos, very nostalgic indeed. It's really heart-warming to see a "New" video of yours. It brings me back to the good old times of RUclips. And really that means a lot, since that means you've been around to watch these for such a long time, so I really appreciate it.
As for a new RE Numa, I definitely want to and likely will someday... it's just kind of something I really gotta get psyched up for. It's no doubt the video people would probably wanna see the most, since even to this day my two most viewed videos are the original ones. I just want it to be done perfectly, y'know? I wouldn't wanna disappoint anyone, to a point where I get a bit nervous thinking about it.
