Just deleted mine 6 inch lift 37’s went from 12mpg to 20mpg full egr plus the 4 inch exhaust running eco/tow tune with the mini max 2
I was looking at the mini max, is it hard to use and install?
The main reason for me to delete is engine longevity and no costs related to exhaust parts and sensors.
I want 500K trouble free miles
Shifting is usually the only concern the 11-16 had valvebody issues I replaced mine with OEM my EGT never gets over 900 when on a hot tune wide open
That’s clutch!
Hey man , what kind of tune are you running? Also where did you get your kit? Looking to delete my 2018 f250
Proven tuning 200hp single file and medium shift trans tune
Hey brother great video.
Are you getting any smell of diesel in the cab?
Just deleted my 19 6.7 and man I can smell the diesel.
No exhaust leaks already checked. I was thinking just comes with the territory once deleted.
Nope, no smell of diesel in the cab at all.
Did you happen to do the ccv reroute? If so that's probably your smell
nice truck... do you have a lift or leveled?
4” lift
Hey do you have a link where to get your specific parts. Did it come as a complete delete kit or did you buy separately
No link available and bought parts separately.
I went from 15 to 18 average, if I’m on highway I’m getting 20 all day
Switching hands and walking around made me nauseous, couldn’t finish the vid.
Thanks for the feedback sacul
How are you monitoring your egt? With it deleted.
Ezlynk auto agent app on my phone
@@MotorHead18 I have the same tune and ezlynk and I didn’t know or can’t find a monitor/gauge that says egt temp. There’s a exhaust pressure i think it’s called is all I see..it would be nice to know my exhaust temps.
@@Buszzbait69 yeah for sure. Monitoring EGTs is extremely beneficial.
@@Buszzbait69 Did you find which sensor to monitor on the Ezlynk? From what I can when when you lose the weight on your truck the only sensor remaining is the EGT#1. On the Ezlynk there is EGT #1 thru #4.
@@BULLBRONCO I’m thinking you have to install a separate temp sensor in your exhaust that can be monitored w ezlynk. I hope someone or the OP can clarify this.
How much was it to get it deleted? Where did you buy the parts? Thanks
Yes
I deleted mine at 9k miles bcuz i had a code for the exhaust and truck would have been down 3 months waiting on back order. Now i have 79k and so far no issues!
Glad to hear!!!
Hi which type of Tuner did you use I have a 2019 6.7 Power stroke
@@monserratesantiago6575 the ez link tuner is what I used
Have you ever traded in a deleted truck? Trying to get some feedback on what happens if you trade in
Great videos!!! Keep them coming. Can you confirm that when you lose the weight on your truck the only sensor remaining is the EGT#1. On the Ezlynk there is EGT #1 thru #4 so monitoring EGT #1 would be the goal of this assignment correct?
Fun fact all emergency vehicles don't come with any of the epa crap on it.
Very interesting
US military trucks come with emission controls fully deleted also.
Glad the delete worked out for you. Just picked up a 2019 dually and am getting the dpf system replaced under warranty due to a P2002 code. I was surprised, the part came in in about five days.
Could never do a delete here because of the required biennial emissions testing. I wouldn't do it anyway while under warranty.
Glad they were able to get the DPF in a decent amount of time!
Can’t wait to tune my 2022 f450 dually. I’m only doing it for reliability and better fuel Milage.
Just a suggestion....Please stop pacing back & forth, back & forth! It's annoying AF, & very jittery on the camera. Just saw 1st vid of yours, but I can't handle the pacing
Wow you need to stop walking and talking the shaking camera is insane
🤣”the sound of the exhaust keeps you from getting that 3mpg increase”. ie:sounds too good to not hammer down. 😎😂nice. Can’t wait to do mine. 👍🏼
Oh yeah, it has plenty of hammer whenever I need it!
I just got rid of my 2015 f350 i deleted it at 55k i traded it in with 195k 95% of those miles were with a 10000/11600lb toy hauler. The biggest i had maybe 6-8 months ago was having to replace my turbo not a huge deal but i just got a 19 and its getting done soon.
Hell yeah
I just bought a 2015 F250 yesterday. Planning on a full delete. Any issues I should be aware of? Thanks!
@@stevehundley7025 cold side intercooler pipe change asap the adapter is plastic and it gets dry rotted w the heat and will blow apart (happened to me rite after my delete ) luckily i just fixd it w a plumbing fernco. Besides that nothing else.
@@RIMTB Thank you!
@@stevehundley7025 anytime
Once you tune and delete it's no longer about miles per gallon......it's about smiles per gallon. Windows down and let her eat!
Oh I sure do let it EAT!
If you don’t delete it you will need the warranty
Lmao
Bro did you just turn on your truck with the original key fob? I just bought the same truck and I'm checking out all the extra stuff I can add to it 😀
Yeah sure did
@Motor Head how did you do that I saw it but I couldn't tell if you clicked it 2 times
Do you know if the deleted rams get better fuel economy than deleted fords?
Yes, no doubt. Unless you drag race it every light lol
That's what the 20+ powerstrokes are getting to properly delete them. Keep your 19
Would a 17 through 19 better a better option over a 20+ if tuning and deleting? Thanks
Would like to hear a furniture update. Thanks
Furniture!?
How have your MPG’s been ever since the delete ?
Same, but foot was into it more most of the time
Im new to diesels and tbh its a bit confusing. Can someome do a video for beginners? Like which parts are what and.what they do. If i was to.delete then what do i delete and what are best parts? What are steps to starting and shutting them pff and cold winter etc. Like detail vids step by step witj pics etc. Im slow lol
Where did you get your tunes? Dm me please.
Yes
Same for me please?
What's your mpg pulling? I only get 9mpg with mine.
11 with a pontoon. Not aerodynamic by any means
Who did you tune and transmission tune man?
proven tuning
Great info, thank you.
Can you run high sulphur diesel like you fin in Central America and some parts of Mexico with a delete?
i don't know
Yes as long as it’s diesel or even kerosene it burns cleaner
You can reprogram the system to the bigger wheels size to get the same MPG back
Yup, used me some forscan!
@@MotorHead18 hey man I also have a 6.7l my truck is stock I really want to delete it like your setup you have a good looking rig! We’re did you buy your tune and get the pipe at? Can you help me out ?!
@@EdwinGonzalez-gv8jt yessir, send me a message through my Instagram
Where is the best place to get tunes
Yes
Thanks for making the videos you do, it’s nice to see an update on how your experience has been. So, you’ve unplugged the EGR. I’m getting everything ready to do some.. modifications, to my 15 250, and I’m on the fence about putting on block off plates for the EGR and leaving the EGR in place. Do you think it’s worth doing that to prevent the possibility of it gumming up over time from just running with it unplugged? I’m not doing a full EGR delete because the way things are going I’m afraid my county will start emission testing at some point. Thanks again!!
I’m about to buy an egr delete kit too, I’ll save the parts though. With it unplugged, I haven’t had any issues in 26k miles.
Nice looking truck.
Thanks Bruce
What tuner do you use?
Yes
I have a 2017 6.7, I have 4 inch delete pipe and 5in after that, it sounds really good
How much louder is the 5” compared to the 4” delete pipe unloaded and while towing?
@@MotorHead18 just a little louder but nothing compared to a gas straight piped. Drone is closed to nothing
@@cristianespinosa9820 you may be teasing me to get a 5”!
@@MotorHead18 lol you'll like it. I got the mbrp
@@cristianespinosa9820 thanks brother
Which transmission tune are you running now?
Last 1000 has been high press OEM shift
@@MotorHead18 👍🏻 I have yet to install a transmission tune. Still stock, I don’t mind the way it shifts.
@@wesleydean4228 more power should be complimented with added trans line pressures. When I had 37s I used the medium shift high pressure 2nd lock tune. Superb
@@MotorHead18 that’s the TCM I just added. Fighting with some bolts to lose some weight underneath is about all right now. Should have it wrapped up toMorrow I hope
@@ryanshaw1513 let me know how it works out for you 😎
My truck stays on 5 all day everyday working or playing lol just keep an eye on those temps.
That’s all you gotta do!
I keep mine on 4 lol plenty power
