I love my Coletti. I bought it for the camper but now use it in the house instead of the pour-over system. I was disappointed that the pot is made in China, but not disappointed enough to give up the pot. Although, I would buy a couple more pot as gifts if they were made in the USA.
Yeah, Mexico would have been fine as I support NAFTA my whole life, still angry it was destroyed before it could be tested (BillyC signing bay jing Permanent Favored Nation Trade Status was planned before he even took office, or signed Bush Sr's regional trade block legislation that took 3 years to hash out)
I just got a red one in November 2024. Loving it. I read comments on another site that recommended using oil on the handle, like you use on your wood cutting board. It is dishwasher safe, but not really recommended. No soap as you want your pot “seasoned.”
I have an older TOPS 12 cup percolator that looks almost identical to the Coletti you feature here. One improvement that I would have included is to attach the lid with a removable hinge pin. That way you could quickly separate the top so you don't have the lid flopping around in a stream or under a faucet while cleaning it out. I modified my GSI 36 cup camp percolator this way that I believe comes in very handy when cleaning out this large pot.
Is this the same camp coffee perculator sold at Walmart ? Because it looks the same, I bought one at Walmart years ago and it looks the same as the one you are demonstrating 😊
When I received my coffee pot, the brew basket will not come out. It is stuck. I have tried and tried to get it out and it will not budge. I like the idea of no coffee pods to throw away into the landfills and no plastic. It is a beautiful coffee pot, but I can't use it. What should I do?? Thanks.
Don’t buy the 6 cup! It only makes 3 cups plus the wood handle is so rough I’ll probably get a splinter. If you really are the owner than you should be ashamed of yourself for making such a poor product
Imagine how many more you could sell if they were Made in America. If they’re quality made…there are people willing to pay more for it made here. Just sayin.
I just bought one today! Can't wait to try it!

Thanks Sherman! We are actively exploring to move production to both the USA & Mexico. I hope we pray it works out - Josh Gilliam

Mexico is a Catholic nation, but China's government destroys Christian churches daily
