That album is a masterpiece but it was also a different time. Underoath has matured as a band, they're not into the heavy stuff as much as they were back than and you can clearly tell with this record. Some say this record is generic and bland, yes some songs are, but some are also songs only Underoath could make. In Motion and No Frame are two of underoath's best imo.
And Caleb shomo records multiple instruments for Beartooth but only sings and MAYBE play guitar live. The other band members are mainly only there for the live shows. This is the basically same concept. It happens.
We worked together for the first time on this record while working together on this record which is why we worked together on this record... for the first time... we worked on this record.
Ive followed these guys for at least 13 years. They've continued to evolve/change as most normal people do. Haters gonna hate. Do what it do, guys. Love the album and happy to hear some new tracks.
I love the Almost and underoath. I think they're brilliant musicians. I believe they'll grow and overcome this backlash they seem to unfortunately be facing. I believe most people claiming the Christian label is ignorant and so blind to reality. I support underoath and their honesty. I believe this album will be monumental!
It's amazing how they say that they didn't work well together in the past few albums. They were so well produced and written so it's hard to believe. It never sounded like they sold out or was all over the place.
I think I'll go listen to Define The Great Line now. None of their albums were heavy at all not even close so not sure why people are saying their not heavy anymore.
Lol you love nonesense? Scene music is your "hollywood undead" and "scouting for girls" brief fad... that died already (called it). I'm actually at a loss for how this comments ended up here.
So I just listened to the album, definitely different, I didn't hate it, but it sounds like the album was produced by two different people. I didn't much care for the first half except for one song, but then the last 5 songs had a totally better feel, they just flowed way better.
The album is not that bad, imo. It's just different. I miss the aggression they used to have a bit, but I respect that if they don't want the same thing over and over again. If they feel like to sing more about they honest feelings instead of screaming, that's their honest expression as musicians!
its giving me life that the people I grew up going to church with and shows with are SO relentlessly salty in their reception of new uø ahahahahahahaha stay mad!! Keep hating non-believers when you know you're supposed to show love to them :) Y'all haven't changed since 2008 when I left the church
The new album is errr not good. Being a long time under oath fan I don't like saying that. If everyone's getting along, great, but that doesn't inherently mean good music.
a Marquez a few of them are still Christians, but I believe Spencer and Aaron are no longer. So yeah, they're not a Christian band anymore. Just curious, why is it unfortunate that they're no longer a Christian band?
MonRoeTheory because it was cool to those of us who share the same beliefs, that they would stand for something worth standing for. That’s why. I hope none of them turned their backs on God.
It's not trendy anymore. That's what bands are all about in this genre. It doesn't matter much to me, but it all seems like a cash grab when you change your beliefs and message when it isn't cool anymore.
@kneepit 67. Obviously someone ruffled his super long necked feathers 😆.. lol usually if you that close at a UO show you're so sweaty and stoked you wouldnt notice or care about a lil bit a spit.. and I think he's confused with Tim. Tim's the notorious spitter..
LOL that's so funny dude! And it's true, too. I've seen Underoath a few times but three years ago I saw Spencer in his other band, they were opening for "Nothing More" and Spencer just kept spitting all over the place. My wife yelled at me in the crowd... Does he always spit? LOL. I don't know why he does it, but it's funny.
MonRoeTheory I've heard that go around too funny enough. I read a fan saying spencer spit water in his mouth and it was the best moment. And my buddy said he saw Aaron spit right on stage at a church event during a worship set....
Aaron looks like my Nana. But I love my Nana. So its cool.
Your Nana has some dope neck tattoos? I dig it
Idc what anyone else says. I loved them back then and I still do. As long as its these dudes throwing down on the same album, I'm listening.
I loved erase me
Oh man, the one song that sounded like Underoath they cut lol
Michael Mannucci what's the name of that track?
Michael Mannucci Ikr I want to hear it LOL
Michael Mannucci Probably referring to Loneliness.
Awwww I love y’all!! Underoath is amazing! Long time fan here and I will always support you guys/share your music with others!
If I fell into a coma after Lost In The Sound of Separation, is this is what I would wake up to?

Love the album!!! The more you listen the more u feel it.
Spencer said it was the first record they worked together on but Grant and James are nowhere to be seen in the studio footage?
Grant and James are not part of the songwriting process. Spencer, Aaron, Tim and Chris write the songs, Grant and James record their parts.
Austin Laanstra they didn’t record their parts on Erase Me. They weren’t even at the studio.
who cares
And Caleb shomo records multiple instruments for Beartooth but only sings and MAYBE play guitar live. The other band members are mainly only there for the live shows. This is the basically same concept. It happens.
brutal concert in madrid, thanks for coming see you next year!
OMG! @4:50...you don't have to yell lady.
Didnt know about this album but im excited to hear it, i listen to you alot in my teens. I think im gonna love this album
We worked together for the first time on this record while working together on this record which is why we worked together on this record... for the first time... we worked on this record.

It's just the narrative they are selling for the new CD (sorry album). Trying to make it sound new and exciting
Spencer Targaryan and Aaron Frey
I think I'll go listen to Define The Great Line now. None of their albums were heavy at all not even close so not sure why people are saying their not heavy anymore.
UØ, my love. 🖤🙌
I love how everyone is upset that they aren't making scene music anymore.
Jack Jackson their last three albums before erase me was genuine and heavy, it had nothing to do with being “scene”.
Cameron, Yeah frickin Disambiguation man! So sludgy and atmospheric!
Lol you love nonesense? Scene music is your "hollywood undead" and "scouting for girls" brief fad... that died already (called it).
I'm actually at a loss for how this comments ended up here.
I think they're hypnotized
If the album is so honest , why cant the fan be honest about how disappointing this album is to see, and were there lifes are now at
The boys are back in town, the boys are back in town.
Lyrically the most dark and emotional album of underoath is lost in the sound and disambiguation
So I just listened to the album, definitely different, I didn't hate it, but it sounds like the album was produced by two different people. I didn't much care for the first half except for one song, but then the last 5 songs had a totally better feel, they just flowed way better.

Cheeseburger Gillespie
HA! Got me
That New Mexico patch!
I enjoyed every song on the record.:p
Thumbs up if you are excited about Underoath's return!
TJ love underoath makes me believe i hope it never ends
best band in the world right here
Underoath went rogue
It’s like they’re robots now.
forms its own hubris? if i will??
These 2 will be fighting in 6 months about creative differences and the rebound will be over
How optimistic you are.. 🙄 lol
Thanks great video cheers
This still doesn't explain why this album is trash?
So basically they don’t like real UnderOath music. Got it.
Look like older soccer mom's now
This is what happens when you run out of money
Couldn't have said it better james
Very unfortunate...
its giving me life that the people I grew up going to church with and shows with are SO relentlessly salty in their reception of new uø ahahahahahahaha stay mad!! Keep hating non-believers when you know you're supposed to show love to them :)
Y'all haven't changed since 2008 when I left the church
Its just me or he looks like a guy from the nickelback
Lady Gaga is getting together with dwp Mike H.
so Aaron is obese now..cool man
I want this pop song and I hate pop songs
they probably talk about "another life" bonus track
Yea they broke
The dude from Nickleback joined the band? lol nah i love this band dearly
The last album of underoath? -.-
Aaron you was my hero but until you turn into a bad group not no more
New underoath sucks now
Looking good fellas. Aaron has a great hairline!
I don't even knew that Aaron Gillespie was making music with Viserys Targaryen
They both look absolutely terrible they look as bad as the new record.
ray kreger well thats just a silly thing to say.
maxwelld23 the guys are great and the album rocks
🔥🔥🔥🔥
maxwelld23 wow that’s a mean thing to say. They look great!
maxwelld23 its true actually
Aaron ...😂when u stop doing drugs ...
The new album is errr not good. Being a long time under oath fan I don't like saying that. If everyone's getting along, great, but that doesn't inherently mean good music.
Chino from deftones said that he thinks tension creates better music.
In my opinion they saved the best for last I think In Motion is the best song on that record.
#nickleback
Sell outs
why are you here?
IDIOT
DynePlays He’s here to hate lol
selling out would be making same sounding music over and over to please their fans.
alienrace 666 nah. Selling out is making music to get radio play which they never cared for before. So to a certain extent, I’d say they sold out
The album is not good :(
Tyler O'Neil yes it is
Oh and the most important thing. Not Christians anymore
Alberto Romero which is a good thing
Alberto Romero I’m sure they’re Christians, just not a Christian band. Which is unfortunate.
a Marquez a few of them are still Christians, but I believe Spencer and Aaron are no longer. So yeah, they're not a Christian band anymore.

Aaron is a funny looking human, especially in the face and nose
David Ward says the one who talking😂🤣
he was a good looking dude when he was younger.. now, idk.
He's just gained weight.
oh look its spencer, the lead singer who loves to spit at his audience/fans while he performs.
Chris Giraffe did he spit on you?
@kneepit 67. Obviously someone ruffled his super long necked feathers 😆.. lol usually if you that close at a UO show you're so sweaty and stoked you wouldnt notice or care about a lil bit a spit.. and I think he's confused with Tim. Tim's the notorious spitter..

Chris Giraffe I’ve seen them at least 10 times live and I’ve never seen Spencer spit on anymore. He has always been super nice to the fans.
ew they look so gross??
