Hello ! What a nice tutorial ! It appears that if I want to texture the base mesh, colors of the strokes will not follow the colors of the texture. I would love a tutorial for this trick 🙂
This effect looks amazing, but i when i tried it out the render is extremely noisy, even with high sample count. I tried using optix denosier, but it just makes the image look ai generated. Any tips?
I suggest utilizing the clone tool and then applying a constraint aim to the camera. Additionally, you can enhance the visual effect by adding materials similar to those shown in the video.
@@LeeGriggs Yes I miss it, I miss the way which its simple to work. And skydome camera visibility does not let me choose color as it should be when using HDRI.
I know I’m a bit late, but you can experiment with Arnold toon shader to get all kinds of anime effects, it’s pretty versatile, just not a lot of documentation, mainly from autodesk website
Awesome Lee, please make more. This is a such a nice combination and shows the power and flexibility of Bifrost within Maya.
What a simple and obvious way, I expect it will work in any program and with any render engine. Gonna try this in houdini today.
Thank you so much Lee, always amazed for this knowledge!!
very cool as always !
Awesome! Thank you!

I take it we could replicate this effect with Particle Flow or TyFlow in 3ds Max?
Yup
U can use particle system of 3ds max
cool
is there anyway to export that "point cloud" as mesh
How to transfer this workflow to C4D?

Hello, I want to know why you have hidden the ai.options background (ai ray switch) option? Would you tell me what is the alternate way?
Do you miss it? You can just create another SkyDome with only camera visibility.
