I want more info on this very sweet street cam. I am in the states looking to install on a 2002 LS1 that is still factory stock. I find it amazing the exhaust is not loud like every LS in the states, it gives me hope that I can retain my stock exhaust so my neighbors will still love me.
Good power for a single pattern cam. I’d still prefer a dual pattern cam, but considering how well this cam drives and the power it makes it is impressive.
My VY SV8 also has strange readings from driver side O2 sensor with no errors. Looks like may be a cabling issue, there is a "crispy" cable going past the header down near the front of the bell housing. Close to the exhaust/header frying it. Still need to check if for O2, but strong suspicion.
Haha mental when i read the title i was going to recommend the camtech 233/233. Makes good power. Had the same cam installed in my manual ls3 maloo and made 476rwhp at nearly 800nm of torque.

Sorry, I am new to this myself, the graph shows that you have a very low torque curve never went beyond 150lbft but you are making great horsepower. Can you please explain. I live in the states perhaps your entire tuning process is different. Cheers

We didnt even really touch the ports at all hey. We have had some real good results out of bigger even splits with cathedrals before. But none that drive as nicely as this! The custom grind we got for the 383 we have build for the purple VY one tonner is very little split, less than 5degrees. Its on a wider LSA than we wanted for N/A due to the owner still wanting to supercharger later on. But we are keen to see the results from that!

Hey mate just a question, how could you tell it was a ls6 intake manifold? What gives it away haven't been able to find anything online. Bloke I bought my VX off reckons it has a ls6 intake 🤷♂️ also I'm thinking of camming soon, do you recommend single or dual springs?

400hp is a good number but na ls1 can make more then that as I made 428hp with cam and shaved 241 heads the dyno run is on my channel if u would like to see it
We have made far more than that with n/a 5.7 before. The power doesnt make this a good cam, the drivability and street manners are what make it so great.

Yeah manual is always making more power,auto with big stally 4k n up get robbed on dyno ,but they 60foot like they spose to n by that time the manual left for dead even with 30 more rwkw

sweet car,ive just had a cam fitted to exact car,ls1 3000 hi stall BUT ill be stuffed if i can get it to idle at lights,i need to raise idle a lil bit,its drive by cable ,the mechanic said theres no adjustment ,been told to drill throttle blade and ive heard the term crack the throttlke blade ,i dont know why you would crack the throttle blade but no im not even considering that,is there any adjustment on idle air controller? any advice appreciated,cam VCM 532
@@PETERNESS I just had vcm13 cam installed 4 K stall yup mine kept doing same thing, we hen the AIC gets dirty n crap on it it will fail with bigger cam,I'd try switch out,I bought 1 under $40 new off eBay idles like a bad bitch now💪 worth try,don't touch the scews on the TPS n try adjust it,it's not a carby where U can bump the idle up😜
The cool thing about the video, is that it keeps going past that point…… and then some crazy stuff happens! Like showcasing the results of the cam so you can see how it performs, and providing cam specifications and data. Its crazy what happens after the first thing thats said in a video…

And the reality is that I just clicked straight onto the next video in search and got all the information I was after. The first 30 seconds is the single most important part to hook me, I watch a lot of YT to learn from educated people that can explain what I want to learn in a way I can understand. If you had of stated at the start that you had all the information and would explain it at the end, it may have been a different story for me. Admittedly, however, I am not, and don’t claim at all to be, a good video maker. I merely film the work we do. To make good videos I need lots of outside help. That's a butt load of horsepower for a baby cam. Wish my clubsport in the 230s made that kind of power.
You must have had ported heads too to pull that much power out of that cam
The extra 30rwhp would have come from the chev badge.

Sounds like a VCM710, sounds the same as mine, which that is a good power cam, mine cranked 409hp with the same set up

Around 5k... You'll need a top end refresh depending on the kilometres and how it's driven.
