- This is the origami owl by Hoang Tien Quyet, probably the most famous Vietnamese origami artist. his models are perfectly fit for wetfolding, I even recommand doing it, but it is not possible to show this in a video... Please try it, the model will be a hundred times nicer!
Level: Low intermediate
Paper: Kami 15x15cm or thicker paper if you try wetfolding it...
It's a shame that the owls shown at the beginning/in the thumbnail are not the owlsthat are the end result... and if they are, I don't really see how you get from two flaps in the front to seemingly no flap?
I would really appreciate a video of you actualy shaping this next time ^.^

It looks nothing like the thumbnail. If you're going to do a tutorial. Show your work in the thumbnail in the video. Otherwise it cheapens your video.
It is the same model,but whithout the last part for give it shapes volume!
It is not hard to understand what you have to do!
I’m i’m sorry I have to agree with the first comment that was made your thumbnail does not look anything like the ending result there is two flaps of paper in the very front which in your thumbnail there is not where it shows that there is no flaps in the very front plus your eyes looked like they were flat out instead of sunken in amongst the nose and the layers on the top of the head this is not the same model as your thumb nail ,And it was quite surprising because the rest of your models are pretty accurate except for this one and that was very disappointing I’m just glad I didn’t waste really good paper on attempting the model but I would really like to see the original thumb nail tutorial if you can find that one I’d like to do that sorry but not
PS even with shaping your thumbnail does not match your ending result even with taping or wet felting it’s not the same model at all sadly

Your final result has nothing to do with the thumbnail. Major waste of time
The final part remains for to put your brain to contribution..it is easy what you have to do for to show like in thumbnail!
First of all, your thumbnail has a completely different design on it versus the one you actually make in this video, why???? Second, the quality is very bad, image goes in and out of focus while you are doing your folds, no clear instructions, and at the end, a completely boring looking owl. Waste of Time!

You show the demo model as having a white body and colored eyes, then show yourself folding a model with white eyes and colored body. That's not how you make tutorials. Totally messed my color combination using a duo colored paper. And half the steps weren't shown properly either.
If you make a lot of origami, you will see that they often change the colors of the diagrams. You have to look to the end of the video to decide which color you are going to start with. There isn't indicated in the beginning that you will get colored eyes!
