I think Starlight Glimmer has PTSD, Trixie has NPD, and Cranky Doodle Donkey has PTSD. Luna has clear signs of Borderline Personality Disorder, which comes from neglect throughout her life. Even Celestia has BPD, because she is bored of her life and feels unfulfilled, clearly shown in Season 9. Obviously Discord has NPD, OCD, and ADHD.
There is a trend to label anything that's not neurotypical as a "disorder", but "typical" is not always best. Some of these "disorders" had evolutionary advantages to early humans. And some of these "disorders" have modern advantages in some careers.
Honestly, some people have suspected RD of having High-Functioning Autism instead. Some traits do line up on that - you could say her thing about the Wonderbolts might qualify as having a 'Special Interest'. However, in "Testing, Testing 1, 2, 3", she can't actually learn about the history of the Wonderbolts at all until she literally is taken on a flight path with things about it. No other teaching method reached her at all - literally I think 4/5 of the main six tried in other ways first! Ironically, some people, (especially those with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism), might have to learn in ways that actually already work with things they already take an interest in. I find that highly relatable since I suck at most math, but always do well in Geometry (even at the level of Trig college classes), specifically since I have an interest in drawing and art. You can't exactly draw without angles and/or shapes , so I just find it easier to figure out than most other math stuff. I'm noting detail as an autistic person myself. Lastly, RD is embarrassed on how much her parents support her, which goes against the Narcasstic Personality Disorder idea. If anything, she should be cool about that and she's actually angered by it throughout an entire episode.
@@mossybeewasteland It's possible she developed that as a way to deal with any other ponies at a young age in theory. Someone masking IRL might act completely different than they would otherwise.
A brilliantly analysed video, but they only scored higher on some dimensions of personality traits, not diagnosed with a personality disorder, and all were eventually dealt with properly. So that doesn't stop them from being favourites
Twilight is obsessed with perfection and the way she acted in "Lesson Zero" shows that she is a little bit crazy. This behaviour carries over to the 2018 movie in stealing the pearl. I think the problem with Pinkie Pie isn't her, but everypony else who treats her like she's stupid. The amount of pressure Fluttershy gets is really testing her limits. She likes animals because they don't antagonise her like bully ponies do.. She did become fearless of dragon's eventually. Rainbow Dash might share a similar problem to that of Trixie and perhaps Lightning Dust, but they sadly don't mix together. Rarity can be a bit of an emotional rollercoaster, but otherwise tries to maintain a clear head. O have to wonder if Applejack is really passionate about her farmwork or if it is to drown her sorrows. Worrying about her sister meeting with Zecora and Trouble Shoes was completely pointless, but was necessary when up against the Chimera. You could place the Mane Six and Spike under the Seven Deadly Sins: Twilight = Pride, Spike = Sloth, Pinkie Pie = Gluttony, Rarity = Greed, Rainbow Dash = Lust, Fluttershy = Wrath, Applejack = Envy. Or at least you can categorise those to the Mean Six and Evil Spike.
I would be either twi or flutters. Guz they look autism. How their sensitive. Lesson 0 twily looks pure insanity lol. Guz in ma opinion izn't Dat wha da DIS ability actually iz and means?? Something very f up'd since creation az a start of a syndrome or supernatural curse az if yo 🧬 to begin with always existed az a retarded insanity to born with for no reason.
For a good while, a bunch of fans thought Twilight had OCD. Due to her obsession of check lists, organizing books, reading books, possibly wanting to always be scientifically right, and her bit of anxiety and stress. But theory was completely killed once she became a princess. A bunch of her issues just disappeared. How many times did we see her use a checklist *as an alicorn.*
uhhh i can recall plenty of times she used lists and was also overhwhelmed from her duties as a princess, kinda like in the episode where she was supposed to read to the fillys in the hospital but then got distracted by also accepting to look after Flurryheart.
There are more characters with special mental conditions such as Maud Pie who is said to have autism or even Opaline who may have two disorders: narcissistic personality disorder and another that you may not know about, which is erostratus syndrome, which is the search for fame and recognition through any means, be it vandalism, setting fires or even threatening.
i dont think maud has autism pinkie does but maud is just a rock idk why people think everyone who is "different" autistic and before you say i dont know what autism is and stuff like that my little brother us autistic so hush
im a mix of Twilight with her GAD and pinkie pie cuz of the ADHD. Also i'd add in that fluttershy is a bit of a people pleaser too. It's not exactly a disorder but still
Memories of Dr Wolf and his AMWDW series, helping ponies both canon and fanon through talking and listening. . . 😏 (I think he falls more under "therapist" or "counselor" than "psychiatrist". . .)
You should go on with Pinkie and point out she is a paranoid schizophrenic it's first noticed in bridal gossip manifesting as racism, it goes full blown in party of one where she actually manufactures new friends from inanimate objects; it's symptoms continue to be seen throughout he series as her hallucination schizophrenia symptom. She had constant hallucinations like when she hallucinates about tasting touching and smearing chocolate cake in the mysterious mare do well and frosting in princess Twilight sparkle. To her credit She seemed to know about her sickness and in lieu of medication she countered her diseases with her unnatural sweetness starting in a friend indeed, when she probably was worried the donkey Cranky might activate her disease as zecora did and, and she would have come across as hateful and racist like she did wither now friend Zecora.

i can get behind that, but she def still has an ego

My little pony isn't the only franchise where disorders make characters loveable (cough spider man has PTSD)

I’m not sure if narcissism is a disorder but, I’m pretty sure that Rarity and Rainbow Dash has it.
it can be a disorder
Who loves my little pony ❤🎉
I’d say Pinkie also has OCD, I’ve talked about in one my videos and it’s also because I have OCD so I can relate to Pinkie
Why is Julie so bae
