Wow! My husband told me "check out our roofer, Andre from All Roof on youtube!" great video, and thank you for the wonderful work on our complicated flat roof leak. We will be sure to recommend you.
You really should not install membrane directly to a hot pipe. That's why they had that metal cone. It's called a heat shield. That way the membrane does not melt due to the temperature of the heat stack
No, not in this exact way this EPdM repair is only for EPdM. If you have rolled Roofing, you have more issues than you know. Roll. Roofing is not a real Roof unfortunately
Hey buddy I left a comment on your father‘s video he doesn’t answer you do so here’s my question I did shingle roofs for years only a couple of flat roofs my son has a couple of square flat roofs it has rotted plywood I think because there’s no ventilation there’s no attic it’s a flat roof the other side is a drop ceiling and it goes right to the insulation so there’s no air can I use just regular air vents put like two of them in there and will that be enough or I think there is some kind of apron flashing that turns into some kind of ventilation system or can you recommend something I’m going to use the peel and stick with Karnak 81 thanks for your help in advance you’re a nice guy by the way so is your dad
A roofer I hired just installed a mushroom vent on my flat roof. The mushroom vent looks like it has a diameter of about 8" at the base but the hole he cut in my roof was only 4". Is 4" big enough to vent properly?
@@AllRoof. Thanks. Is there a certain calculation for the number of vents required for a certain size roof? I have a 25 x 50ft flat roof in the northeast of the US. He put up 2 vents.
It’s almost unreasonable but we try to accommodate within reason. I hear Utah is beautiful, gotta get out there sometime if I ever get a break from work
Randall my man, I gave you a shout in my latest video " Tree Damage Repair." It was 34 degrees when we first started, and by the time we were putting down the primer for the EPDM it was about 40 degrees and rising.
11:52 extremely well done explanation and view of the procedure.
If there are awards for construction instructional videos this should be nominated.
I really appreciate it. It makes it a little bit easier to keep on filming all these videos.
Very nice Son, as usual very thorough and professional. Nice intro too. Your videos are really fun to watch. I watch this one 2 x already.
This roof will never, ever, ever leak again. I learned a thing or two because someone else knows a thing or two.
@@AllRoof. You guys are a hoot. May I ask what was that liquidy stuff you put in the pitch pocket?
Nice video! Loved the intro and you explain everything so clearly!
Great Job Andre! Intro is awesome. Keep up the great work.
Thanks, we are going to get your intro done soon!

is the rubber boot available to buy online? On amazon all I see are boots for metal roofs... I have a flat rubber roof
Miami referral to get this done?
Is it acceptable to do this over rolled roofing?

It probably will work, but bigger is always better!!

I don't know where you're at but, it always seems cold.
Haha It’s just this time of year!! Seems like you don’t suffer from cold weather wherever you.
@@AllRoof. oh yes.... Utah is cold this time of year.
@@AllRoof. And.... it's funny how much work people want done during the winter.

Looking for someone in Miami to do the same for me. Recommend anyone?
How cold is it no torch yikes

I loved watching you fill that pitch pocket daddy!...Mmnnn
no water cutoff under band of pipe boot ?
You cut the vent to put around wires I did not see how you seal the cut vent
Take an 8x12 slice patch, prime and patch over the cut.
@@AllRoof. thanks bro your father a good man gentle and good to people
