- Onboard P&O Arvia as we leave Gran Canaria to sail across the Atlantic to the Caribbean.
This part of the transatlantic cruise will include 6 sea days in total.
The sun is out and the promenade deck on deck 8 of Arvia is now busy. We tried some other restaurants, including 6th Street Diner, The Olive Grove and Zenith, one of the main dining rooms.
Mel continues to try many of the activities on Arvia including singing and line dancing. She takes control of the camera for one day to show her day.

Marcus & Mel you are so funny . I love watching you both .. we go cruising a lot . But my husband said he fed up with them … because a lot of things have stopped and the food isn’t as good. But I love them so I am working on him 🛳️🛳️
Thanks for watching - We didn't really know cruising before so don't know what it used to be like. But for us, it's really good value for money compared to traditional holidays and much less hassle too.
Enjoying the series. I even make a very brief appearance at 19:07 No18 baseball cap on, 😂 enjoying an Al Fresco breakfast from the quays.

Thanks for making this video on ARVIA across 🎉the Atlantic to Barbados I like the way you interact with each other on the cruise ship and what makes it more interesting to me is that I will be flying in a weeks time to Barbados to connect with the cruise ship ARVIA in Bridgetown in order to cruise around the Caribbean so once again thank you very much and a pleasant cruise to both of you.👍

Marcus you are so funny, not grumpy at all! Are you not fed up with cruising yet? I have only been on one (Aurora) and although a small ship and adults only I still found it to have too many people on it especially food times!
There were plenty of places to avoid people on this ship. We did enjoy our first 3 cruises although the MSC Christmas trip was not so good.

9.123 again here both! We have loved watching your videos so far, re-living the trip with you ! We keep looking to see if we might be in the background but not so far! We also enjoyed the sea-days where there is no pressure to do anything but relax and watch the sea roll past. The only fixture was attending the excellent series of morning talks in Headliners by the Birmingham ex-detective inspector Terry Brown and the techniques used by the police for interviewing suspects.
Mel - interesting to compare notes - we were not so keen on brassy Liss Jones (her impression of Shirley Bassey was...um...not great let's say! ) but really enjoyed the 'Sky's the Limit'. Looking forward to the next episode - thanks again !!
Hi, we didn’t go to the detective’s talk but did go to the pilot. Mel didn’t , as one of the talks was on a plane crash and she afraid of flying!

Always wanted to do a transatlantic repositioning cruise as I love my sea days but never done more than 2 back to back. 6 consecutive days could be a struggle lol. Love the Caribbean though, sailed out of Barbados a couple of times. I live on the Isle of Wight so Southampton is very close by. Might try a cruise leaving from Southampton that goes to the Canaries. Great vlog guys.
Thanks, the ship did have plenty to do on sea days and didn’t feel. Too crowded. We are on MSC at the moment and it feels really busy

Hi it was about £1400 per person with balcony and including flights, You got £310 each onboard credit. We had 15 nights onboard. Inside cabins were 799
