- No clickbait titles, just our honest impressions as we embark on the NEW Sun Princess from Rome on a 10-night inaugural cruise. Come with us on our European voyage.
The first two cruises were cancelled so what was going to be the third cruise actually became the maiden voyage.
There’s been a lot of chatter on social media about this ship which we ignored and we hope to bring you our honest opinion.
As well as being the first passengers on Sun Princess, it is our first time cruising with Princess Cruises.
The 10-day cruise itinerary departs from Rome and visits Naples, Crete, Kusadasi Turkey, Athens, Sicily, and Mallorca. Finally, arriving in Barcelona Spain.
We paid all costs ourselves and were not invited or paid by Princess Cruises in any way.

It was a very nice ship and should be excellent in a few months. It wasn't meant to be the first but really glad we actually got to go and it wasn't cancelled. Yes, we will definitely do Princess again.
I heard a lot of mixed reviews about this inaugral cruise but, so far, it looks very impressive. Looking forward to your future vlogs about all the places you will be visiting on this trip. :0)

Great video and new subscriber. Going on the Sun in September on the transatlantic from Southampton to Ft Lauderdale. So excited about the new ship and seeing London for the first time.
Your going to have a great trip. It should be excellent by then. It was very good but quite a few venues were still closed but should be open in the next few weeks. We would definitely recommend the ship. We are also going transatlantic to Fort Lauderdale but at the end of October with Celebrity.
It looks an amazing cabin. I was upgraded to a mini suite on my first Princess cruise, it was fab, but this one is something else. I was on the 2nd cruise on Arvia, the newness smell is lovely. It’s a beautiful ship.
Yes, it is a beautiful ship. It will be hard to go back to a standard cabin.

Just a note... that area, shown halfway thru the video, is The Sanctuary, and you can pay for access... The Suite Area is Just AFT of there, with all nice padded loungers, etc... (hoping they improve the Sanctuary area on this ship ASAP!!!!)
Did you use the Sanctuary? For future guests, what else was wrong with it.

Are your tips included on Princess cruises?
It was an amazing room. No tips are not included, they charge $17 a day per person.

The food and restaurant looks like upmarket IKEA to me. I prefer Terra firma holidays personally 🎉🎉🎉
