Love your garden they are so beautiful I got several gardens around in our yard they are so beautiful and peaceful It just so peaceful to go out to the garden talk to Jesus pray sing and walk around them to see what is new popping up and blooming,
I got it introduced to gaura two years ago. Wonderful plant. I bought plants for a $1 each at a close-out sale during drought (worse time to transplant). I was moving at time, so plants were dumped in ground, very neglected. They made it, and became a favorite with their whimsical fronds blowing in the wind. Beautiful garden. Blessings on your day.
I can't believe how much your garden has grown and the flower beds are fuller. Beautiful garden! I have 2 white guara, it grew so big and beautiful this year. The pink one didn't come back this year. I bought one dark pink and one light pink. I hope they will grow tall like the white ones and will come back next year😊
Love all the beautiful flowers in your garden. The gaura is so cute and dainty. I've never seen the white ones. 🥰TFS I just put the pink one out 2 weeks ago at the front entry in a pot. Oh my, the deer nibbled the flowers. I may have to remove them from this spot.
Having never heard of gaura, I saw three white gaura plants in my local nursery and bought them to complement my more colorful bellflowers and daylilies. They've become my favorite! There's movement in the garden, fun, flowing, bobbing movement! Wondering whether I can plant some pink gaura this fall. Instructions say, "If it's not perennial, wait until spring." How can I tell whether it's perennial? Thanks for any help you can offer!
I have pink gaura, but it was in a bed that ended up in shade because of an overzealous pussywillow bush. I actually forgot about the gaura, but found her struggling for light, so I moved her to a sunny spot. She has taken off like crazy! So glad I found her in time to save!
Gaura is awesome. I'm in 9b, and they can take the hottest sun all day with water whenever. Very drought tolerant, and the pink gets 4 ft across and 5 ft with long blooming.
I got pink gaura this year is growing and doing good Had white gaura a couple years back and it got to big for the space just like your white gaura but they are beautiful blowing in the wind
I have white and red. I bought the white almost 3 ft tall and it died back immediately, it’s now about 2 ft and growing. I also took a red one about 2in and it’s over 2 ft now!

Thank you. I love them too. They are a bit finicky it seems but they are so beautiful. Hopefully they come back bigger and better for you.
