Thank you Kristin! You're awesome! I'm glad you liked it! The last time I saw Alter Bridge (December 2017), they played an acoustic version of this song. One of the most beautiful things I've ever heard. I get to see them again for the 4th time this coming Friday. So stoked! This will probably be my last concert for the year.

"Whoever wrote this song.." You literally paused it at the one who wrote it. 😁 Mark Tremonti. Great guitarist and band indeed. You can see him hold the emotions as the crowd was singing. So awesome. AB, his solo band 'Tremonti' and Creed (back in the day) always fails to disappoint.
The lead guitarist wrote the song for his mother! You can see Myles looking toward him throughout the performance while Mark is looking up to his mother.

I'm so sorry for losing your mom, I buried my dad 6 weeks ago I had this played at his funeral. Don't stop yourself sweetie crying is a way to release the pain and begin healing. I lost my mom , may 29, 2017, my best friend Aug 16 2017 and my husband soul mate of 21 years Aug 25 2017 too. I didn't think I'd survive, I barely did, I cry still a lot,. But at least it's not 10x a day for ten months straight like the beginning. Be open and honest with your grief love , your migraines might get easier too. One of the most beautiful songs I've ever experimented in my life. At the first note, the tears start to roll down my face. I lost my Mom 9yrs ago and it feels like yesterday. I miss her with all my heart. I thank Mark Tremonti for writing this incredibly touching song.

This is all of Creed minus Scott Stapp. Myles is quite the upgrade. He did the soundtrack to the Mark Wahlberg movie Rockstar and tours with Slash, fronting his band.
I think Myles was a little under the weather here because his lower range sounds a little off.
