I swear that episode aired the same year as Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2.
Which makes the parallels funnier.
Even though Jake being a alien is a retcon to him getting his stretchy powers from a mud puddle I used to imagine that maybe the mud puddle unlocked like a dormant alien part of his dna which allowed him to stretch since knowing Adventure Time is apocalyptic that mud puddle could have been toxic waste for all we know
i think they left whether or not the mud puddle was actually the source of his powers intentionally ambiguous so they could go back later to explore the true origin of his powers. I'd like to imagine an alternate history where they chose to stick to the mud puddle and explore why the puddle was special for jake

How is that a retcon?
I thought that it was because he landed in a mud puddle right after being born, so he simply thought it was how he got his powers since it was the earliest thing he remembered.
When Jake is born he fell into a mud puddle. Maybe his parents made up that story for him based on the real event.
I wonder if Jake’s kids were to go through a very specific scenerio would they have a blue alien form similar to Jake?

I'm sure that and some time travel hijinks probably make Warren.
Also would explain Jake and his strange link to beings like Prizmo.
That'd probably only happen if they were exposed to Warren or Lumpy Magic like Jake.
They'd also probably differ radically thanks to their Rainicorn DNA.
What I want to know is what jakes dad saw that caused him to give up… if I remember correctly, his last words were something like “oh, I see where this is going.” And happily jumps into the black hole like the usual adventure time weirdness.

Warren seems to be from an alien origin rather than a comic one.
I think warren ampersand might be a primordial like coconteppi and orgalorg. Because I the lichs flash back in the first scene. Between the tree and the giant flower primordial might be him because of it's multiple eyes

Bc in 0:03 jake said he went into the “mud” and suddenly got his powers but i somehow think this was foreshadowing bc i feel like the mud represents the goo thing when Joshua gave birth to jake? Idk i think i was just overthinking things but i wanna know if its just me

I wonder what is he doing with his life when he's not tricking his offsprings to prolong his life, I mean there can be something else in him wanting to continue the cycle other than the fear of death.
I was not a fan of Warren’s story being included. His story remaining this weird unexplained thing was really cool to me and went along with the undertones that adventure time is a darker story than what was on the surface. Makes the universe seem more sinister and mysterious. Making him some scheming stretchy guy that wouldn’t shut up just felt lame.
He was literally this alien monster stalking Jake for unknown reasons before that episode. To follow him all his life just to try and steal his powers was underwhelming.
Fun fact, in computer science, ampersands are used to designate aliases. In c++, you can pass a variable with the ampersand in order to edit the actual spot in memory the variable represents.

He's a shapeshifter, he definitely can survive entering blackholes
I agree the GOG connection is there but I think the big picture is more comparable to Greek Mythology. We have the highest level entties that are like Consmic horrors who existed in the time before tome. We then have a level down with physicsl incarnations of these beings. These first two levels are very like the first primal entities in Greek mythology and their offspring who took over under Cronos. Next you have HIS offspring, the gods, who were also a step lower in cosmic magnitude but mirrored his own revolt. These Greek Gods were much closer to and involved in mortal afairs which is where I think entities we like Warren Amphersan and Hudson Abadeer fit on this. They even have some similar naming conventions to each other and common triats woth their sinister power/status. We also know both their children are being destined for great power and the result of a mortal hybrid relationship..just like the demigods. I am not as versed in the huerarchy of Lovecraft horror entities, but from my understanding, there is a bit of a simialr structure. My thought is that he and Hudson are actuallly the God level step in the cosmic being higherarchy with only their children holding the demigod level seperating them from mortals and beig the rank below physical incarnated cosmic dieties in the other direction.

The blue creatures are eldrich like and warren looks almost like azathoth in one painting I've seen on the internet then Warren could not be his name it could be a eldrich name because why do I say he looks like azathoth because azathoth has many eyes and one big mouth and since Jake is his offspring he's half eldrich and half dog so my character would say he is a drahali meaning dog with tentacles in eldrich and yes my character is a eldrich horror Jorogumo hybrid
