I felt the same way when I first heard her. Never in my life have I heard a singer that could tear out my soul (especially at 12 and 13 years old) and this girl has done it several times. It’s almost like it’s divine. You should check out her singing “Rechenka”. That girl is special.

For those who trash her she is only 15 years old here , this is a young child program called (You Are Super ) she was born May 31st 2003 . If you are jealous get a life .

I'm so happy you found this unique talented girl! She was 14, they made a show "You are super/ Ты супер!" for kids with tormented background/left with no parental care, and they made funny, sometimes beautiful performances like dancing with sailors, etc. Then Diana entered, with voice of an Earth Goddess. Not only the rarest contralto singing voice, her one of a generation timbre and using huge variety of singing techniques including yodeling, pliphonic singing, straight tones vibratos, use of dynamics, all in one but her stage presence, her unqiue ability to set the mood, the atmosphere, and transforms herrself into the character immdediately when on stage at age of 14?! As a storytelling singer, she performs her songs like a book - opening it with a whisper as the cover bookend and closing it with a whisper. I believe, auto-tune would actually destroy her natural sound. She presents so much timbre and vibrato and yodeling, auto-tune would level the sound to a degree, that it would sound like Alexa or a navigation device. Would be unbearable. We enjoy, as beautiful and unique as it is.

That last part where she does that freestylin' is AWESOME!! I Love that part so much; To Me it's like Diana is flying free with her vocals; which sounds so gorgeous and her beauty is so captivating when she sings. Enjoyed your comments on her....the background is as extraordinary as the performer. At the age of three in the middle of Russia's far northern Winter she was abandoned, injured, at a bus stop where she was rescued and sent to an orphanage. At the age of 5 she was still traumatized and unable to speak properly. A massage therapist who visited the orphanage trying to help kids, was the first to recognize something special in this little girl, and eventually adopted her. Diana was sent for singing lessons because it was thought that this might help her learn to speak without impediment.
Only two years later she started singing in local theater, and in street plays and performances. And soon after was entered in a Russian TV music competition for disadvantaged children. By the age of 10 she was winning local competitions, singing on live TV shows, and her songs started showing up on RUclips. Two months ago, at the age of 18, her first performance during a new Russian television competition with several other renowned performers, has gone viral and has garnered hundreds of RUclips 'reaction' videos, and millions of viewers.
Her first song at the competition, an entirely new take on Elvis Presley's 'Can't Help Falling in Love with You' has been called mesmerizing, transcendental and other-worldly...it highlights her uniquely deep voice, and effortless range from low to high, along with her trademark dramatic and passionate interpretation. Diana has something primal, mystical, but also sensitive and sensual in her voice and she lives her songs. Diana is a dramatic contralto, the rarest and lowest female voice type (her range C3-D6). Diana's voice also sometimes has a polyphonic undertone. You hear: Her voice sounds an octave below the singing voice. (But not everyone can hear that.) Diana also has a perfect pitch and her sense of rhythm was exceptional even as a little girl.
I'm so happy you found this unique talented girl! She was 14, they made a show "You are super/ Ты супер!" for kids with tormented background/left with no parental care, and they made funny, sometimes beautiful performances like dancing with sailors, etc. Then Diana entered, with voice of an Earth Goddess.
Not only the rarest contralto singing voice, her one of a generation timbre and using huge variety of singing techniques including yodeling, pliphonic singing, straight tones vibratos, use of dynamics, all in one but her stage presence, her unqiue ability to set the mood, the atmosphere, and transforms herrself into the character immdediately when on stage at age of 14?!
And since the crew was highly professional they did excellent job giving her the opportunity to shine. She took it, won that season (Season 2), and the Season 3 (Super Season where the best returned) at age of 15.
There are many many songs by her and they all amaze me do to his unique voice and style, but for me only the TV show and it's concert gave her the professional enviroment to really shine, including
background, stage director, sound engineers for audio quality, etc. etc So we can see, hear, experience her performance fully.
(Yep the image of these shows video are often copyright blocked, the workaround is crop/filter/blur/change aspect size if needed. Its a struggle, but the overall quality of these recordings worth it)

Rechenka i believe was her first performance on you are super at the tender age of 14. It is a masterpiece at any age of the performer.
I will say this .... Diana does not just sing, she opens her soul in the process of singing. Combined with a unique timbre and superb vocal control, this has a magical effect on the listener. It is so unusual that it seems like a special mission.

As a storytelling singer, she performs her songs like a book - opening it with a whisper as the cover bookend and closing it with a whisper.
I believe, auto-tune would actually destroy her natural sound. She presents so much timbre and vibrato and yodeling, auto-tune would level the sound to a degree, that it would sound like Alexa or a navigation device.
Would be unbearable.
