He probably went for the combo because it is the default punish for a whiff DP with no medals, but yeah on 4 medals he could have gone for the cmd throw.

Young players are really receptive to learning and absorb info fast. If you get them into the game young, amd they put in the work, they'll absolutely kick ass. The reason I push for less toxicity is mostly because I want parents to feel good about letting their kids enter the FGC, because they could truly turn the scene on its head. I mean look at the way EW plays. Full confidence, no fear, amd mechanics completely on point.
