- Forty-six of the top anglers from the Walmart FLW Tour compete in the grand-daddy of all bass fishing tournaments, the Forrest Wood Cup on the Red River in Shreveport, La. Only one man will walk away with the coveted trophy and a prize worth $500,000; who will it be?
I worked this event back in 2013 at the Shreveport convention center doing security. I had just started, this was my first event working at the convention center. 7 years and 10 months later I'm still there can't wait for you guys to return..👍🏾
Every time I watch this, I can't figure why the guy wouldn't bring his frog rod.
Why don't you guys put better resolution versions up? 360p or 480p was good back in the 1980s... Last time I checked it was 2013 allready. Don't give any sorry excuses about bandwidths and upload times, there are tons of people putting up far more content per month than you guys, all in full hd resolutions. You clearly have high production values, and you like to let us know that you're the biggest and the best in the fishing sports entertainment. Why it is not showing here on youtube?

Anyone at FLW or otherwise know where to find the 2012 FLW Cup at Lake Lanier that Jacob Wheeler won? I've looked everywhere and cannot find it. It seems that almost every other year from 2010 on is available through this channel. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

How do we qualify for a tournament like this?
im from nj and i fish alot but if i was fishing in a lake that had croccergators in it. i'm OUT lost that tourny...............

I like fishing tournaments, the only thing I dont like about it is the people that just throw the fish in the boat, like I know they just have so much time to fish but I really don't think bending down and taking the fish with your hands is going to take that much more time. Really fun to watch the older guys tho, they seem to know what they are doing.
David Hultén It’s about getting them into the boat before they come off and flipping them is the best way more often than not in heavy cover.
All these fishing tournys are the same. There is 45 minutes of video here with about 34 minutes of advertisements and comentary.

I think MajorLeagueFishing has a better format. Every fish counts like a basketball game.. that's the best way to measure an angler's ability to make bass bite everytime.juz my 2 cents.

@Sharps19 It wont let me reply to you but you are either a liar or know absolutely nothing about tournament fishing! going all the way in the water after a fish would result in being disqualified! its against every bass tournament rule no matter if its a small club tourney or the BMC!
