Hi Anna ! Thanks for the feedback :-) I appreciate hearing from those who try recipes, it's nice to see others have success and fun trying something new. Thanks for watching Anna !
Hi Angie, yes, you could use frozen blueberries, just heat them like you see me do in the video, and all will be fine ! and thanks for the comment, that makes me happy seeing positive feedback, I enjoy making the videos too :-)

you can use vinegar also, or just use ice water. Lemon juice slows the production of gluten in the dough, so that the dough is more puffy, more flaky, - it relaxes the dough so when you roll it out, it doesn't stretch back on you
***** Hi Lee, apple is a great choice too :-) Anything goes... and I'm glad you tried it out too :-) Hopefully your husband enjoyed your baking :-)) Thanks for watching Lee, and you too ! have a super day :-)

I don’t have a pastry cutter, and I refuse to make any more additions to my kitchen. I’ve found that if you chill the butter in the freezer, you can just use a cheese grater and it works just as well 🤷🏻♀️
That's an old trick and works well to cut your butter. Another trick is to use 2 knives and use those in place of the pastry cutter to cut at butter into the flour. Thanks so much for watching ! 😊

Can you use pineapple instead of blueberry? Please let me know. I tried your banana bread recipe and my family love it. They're asking to make more. Thank you!
HR29 Sure why not !, always encourage people to try different things and yes I think pineapple would be fine. I would heat the pineapple with some sugar in a pot and break it down before I put it in there though.
Hi Sarkari, the lemon makes the dough more tender. Thanks for watching ! 👍 if you are on Facebook, you can also find me here: facebook.com/bakelikeapro ✅
You're welcome Sarkari. By the way, you will often see vinegar used in pie dough recipes... because it's acidic like lemon juice, it is used in pie doughs too... and is even more popular than lemon juice.
@@BakeLikeAPro I've seen dough recipes where they are flaky pie texture and ones with a thicker biscuit type texture. I also saw that you can't fry the biscuit type doughs only pie crust ones. Thanks
Hi again Amber ! 🙂 When making biscuit or pie dough, *both* should be flaky. The best biscuits ( I'm talking about biscuits ( not cookies ) are always flakey. You should be able to pull them apart and see the layers that the butter in the flour has created. Also, in my experience, you can indeed fry both of these. For example, the recipe you watched here, I could have easily fried that dough and it would result in a great texture.

Chicken mushroom, your kidding, right ?
I'm in Pinterest, also Facebook, and Google's Blogger, but I don't have any recipes written out :-(( Sorry Angie :-(
I’ll use strawberry’s
If you deep fried them they would be amish fry pies,,
+teresa bradley That sounds delicious.
Sounds good too, but baking would be healthier than frying !
