Patrick J. Deneen is Professor of Political Science and holds the David A. Potenziani Memorial College Chair of Constitutional Studies at University of Notre Dame. He earned his BA and PhD degrees from Rutgers University. Early in his career he worked as Speechwriter and Special Advisor to the Director of the United States Information Agency. He also held positions at Princeton and Georgetown Universities before joining the faculty at Notre Dame in 2012. His books include The Odyssey of Political Theory: The Politics of Departure and Return; Democratic Faith; Conserving America: Essays on Present Discontents; Why Liberalism Failed; and Regime Change: Toward a Postliberal Future. He was awarded the APSA’s Leo Strauss Award for Best Dissertation in Political Theory in 1995, and an honorable mention for the APSA’s Best First Book Award in 2000.

The key is education
Because you can have all four quadrants as long as everybody agrees on the truths of Christ socially 46:24 and this happens through education.
Love is the binding agent in Christian life and political thought. Aristotelian polity does not work because it does not exist. This is the deception of all idols, or what we now call ideals.
Keep your religion out of politics.
It’s impossible. Pay attention, because a certain religion wants to subjugate you. Choose wisely.

Your moral framework comes from religion or a cult, and you have to choose.

@@Donner906religion can influence someone’s world view: I agree with the fact that as long as you aren’t limiting others rights there is no reason why someone’s religious views can’t be a motivation for their politics.
Would God that all the Lord's people were prophets and that the Lord would put his spirit upon them.
We better find out how to circle
