The genre kind of died off I think. It has had waves. 70's and 80's were grrrrreat! 90's had some good basement tapes, and Garnett silk, Bounty Killer, until maybe mid-nineties, then I got bored with it. It became about the riddim rather than any individual track having weight. Nowadays all this Vybez Kartel are bullshit. And all this electronic voice crap - smh.
