In Surakarta you can watch the Indonesian national team football match at the Manahan Stadium.
There were no such Bali culture kind of thing, it were just Hindu culture 😅.

There a lot of candi in around jogja, either budhist or hindust
Solo is one of the best culinary destination in Indonesia. And if you love iced tea, you definitely have to try Solo iced tea. It's known for its tradition of mixing and matching different brands of tea as the one you see in a tea package in the market

Finally, somebody visit Solo 😍😍 Usually tourist skipped Solo. They're directly go to Surabaya or Bali from Jogja. When you're travel from Jogja to Solo, there's a region called KLATEN.That's my hometown that I've been left for 25 yrs. For me, I prefer Solo than Jogja, it less crowded, better transportation system and moore landscape to escape. I used to go to the highlands around Kemuning to go some camps during my school years. Climbing Mount Lawu. I saw it much developed compared 30 yrs ago.. Of course. And if you go there on the clove harvest season, the farmer were dried the things out. it's good to have clove aromatic smell on the air. Cheers to you both so much ❤💚 from Batam, Riau Island

Talk about Pisang Godok or Banana Steam you can try to make it but have to use some type of Banana, for example Pisang Tanduk is very delicious to steam it, but another kind of banana like Pisang Kepok especially delicious to make a Banana Fried..

11:30 Actually Balinese came from Surakarta/Yogyakarta regions. Bali was the territory of Kadhiri Empire, the successor of Hinduism Mararam Kingdom which was being wiped out by the volcanic calamity. Some historians said it was also due to the assault from Srivijaya Empire.
When the new Demak Islamic Kingdom invaded Eastern Java to reclaim the remains of the collapsed Majapahit Empire, the Javanese Hindu people emigrated to Bali and built the stronghold against the invading Demak. These Javanese people then became the roof of the recent Bali culture. The Balinese temple, houses, architecture, even the language are so similar with the Javanese. It's more like comparing Italy with Spain.

When you in Pasar Gede, you must coming to Cityhall near it, there are Festival Payung (Umbrella Festival), i don't know when you visit Solo, but from September 8-10, there are festival at Cityhall from 18.00-23.00 pm

actually candi cetho is located at the edge of Mount Lawu, which is also famous for hiking lovers...in the other side of Mount Lawu is east java...

And the fact of Dukuh Candi Ceto it was a most popular Gate Point for trekking / hiking to the summit Of Mount Lawu.

- snorkleling at pantai nglambor

Guys please go to Dieng plateau its a wonderful view see the temples & crater. Dont forget bring your jacket.
Once you've arrived in solo, try visiting wonogiri, and the gajah mungkur reservoir.
Actually hindu communities exist here and there across the java, not much but they exist. And by the way, the tea you saw first at the market (not the rosella one), they're like a tea mix recipe that the taste is very distinguished and that is Surakarta speciality.

Aku hanya menyukaiku sayur bening elung sambel bawang, dan brambang asem, garang asem ,tempe goreng garit, teh dandang, menu paling Sederhana tapi sgt nikmat. Solo memang susah dilupakan.
Try going to the City Above the Clouds, namely Wonosobo, Dieng, Central Java
In SOLO you should attend javanese traditional dance "TARI JAWA" show and leather puppets "WAYANG KULIT" one and traditional pentatonic music "GAMELAN" one......three of many arts show in SOLO..... You deserved to experience it.....Have nice travelling !!!
