I completely missed that the first time round, I think it may have just hidden it as Windows wouldn't be running without it.

Yep, I ran it on an old laptop that I use for malware testing and record the HDMI out with my capture card. This way everything is isolated and can not spread across my network.
@@CaptainJRW bricking a pc is actually very hard. You have to mess with secure boot platform keys etc.
