Great review! I just ordered the phone, but we’ve been using the bark app for some time now. I decided to opt for the phone now since my child is now a teenager and has access to social media. The bark app and Apple products aren’t always compatible when it comes to monitoring third party apps. The bark phone will make that easier now, I hope! I like that it isn’t as invasive as other phones are. Why do I want to break the trust my child has in me if I don’t need to-ya know? But I love that key words are flagged and I can review and decide if I bring it up or not - like your example about sports and the word “hit”
My question is about data usage. I don’t want to pay the highest price for unlimited data, but then I’m concerned about my child over using apps and wracking up a huge Data usage bill. Do they have any warnings about reaching data limit etc?
@@Mommyhighfive one more question- any idea how to get in touch with customer service?? There’s no phone number, no email, just an automated chat service… I’m beyond frustrated that I can’t get a hold of someone!!!

I'm happy to hear you've found a phone that will work for your child! Best wishes!

It doesn't run out of data. It just slows down after they reach the limit. You aren't charged for extra data use.
@@Mommyhighfive oh! You’re not charged? I thought the 4 GB of data meant that was all that you were allowed?

@@elissajones5154 When my son has gone over the data limit we have not been charged, it gets gets slower.
Thank you for the very helpful review. I think since Bark doesn't allow us to see our kids text messages, we will have to opt out 😔
Check out our review of the Troomi phone. It has a lot of the same features as the Bark phone, but Troomi allows parents to see all text messages.
Just take ur kids phones and read them.
@@mattkinnamon4562Exactly my husband and me always take our daughters phone at bedtime and read all her texts.
