Damn, just bought a ticket to go see a cash grab😂 a grounded review, Ive seen a couple of your videos, and its pretty much how i would express myself 👌🏽u got a subscriber
This movie would've been way better if it was just Batman pursuing Arthur Fleck and everything filmed from Batman's perspective. This would make the character more mysterious and stranger, and make you question the events of the first film or Arthur's recollection of them. It seemed like that was the angle they were setting up but Todd Phillips botched it with this "musical" concept and stuffing Lady Gaga of all people in there. It probably does the opposite and destroys the air of mystery around the first film.
Bro everyone saw this coming lol people have been telling me for over a year “bro give it a chance ! Just cuz it’s a musical doesn’t mean it’s gonna suck.” 🤷🏾♂️🤦🏾 look what happened lol
@@ALTEXTV I think that if they took the movie in an entirely different direction it would’ve been good though. And I know you said you didn’t want a sequel with Batman in it but I don’t think a movie has been done yet with the joker being the protagonist and Batman being the antagonist. It’s usually the other way around. So if done well they could’ve done that and I suppose it would of been cool
The music is the way Arthur expresses himself. If you’re going to give criticism at least get it right. Arthur thinks he’s talented but he’s NOT. This is the point. It’s supposed to be uncomfortable because he is awkward and off tune. It’s all for a purpose. And this movie was never meant to go with any joker lore.
Those scenes don’t add anything to the movie, I am not the only one who is saying this either. Majority of people who have seen the movie agree with me on the musical numbers
@@ALTEXTV i don’t care if people agree with you but the point to the singing is because Arthur expresses himself through song. In the beginning he doesn’t even talk, doesn’t want to speak. Becoming joker and singing helps him live that fantasy and also express how he’s feeling. He’s having an internal battle with himself. This is the point.
Yes I know that’s the point, it’s him living in his fantasy land. That doesn’t mean they executed that though. There are a lot of movies where you know what the point is but it’s doesn’t work. That’s the point here I am making is the musical numbers took away from the scenes imo, it didn’t add any value to them because of the execution

Imagine Travis Bickle SINGING to Iris in Taxi Driver II. Thankfully THAT will never happen...
Seeing some of the roles Robert Deniro accepts I wouldn't take it off the table

I personally wouldn’t tie it into Batman but then again I wouldn’t even both making a sequel to the first one
I personally loved it! The ending shocked me.
That’s awesome that you loved it!
Wow, i thought deadpool 1 did that.

Yep I always thought it was a bad idea to do a sequel

If Joker 2’s not your thing, my Harley story might be.
