So you were allowed to fill your car? I am trying to arrange transport to Turkey and keep hearing no belongings in the car. Maybe each country is different.
Yup I was allowed to put whatever I wanted into it as long as I gave them a list with all the items and their approximate value. Yes it could very well be dependent on the country that it’s being shipped too but I can’t say for sure
Hey, yeah you need to cancel your insurance and make sure that you keep the slip at the bottom since that’s your registration and in Germany that’s basically all you have to prove that the car is yours other than a purchase invoice. Also keep the paper that shows that your insurance has been cancelled.
I had to give them all my paperwork before the car was even shipped so that they can make sure everything is correct and there wouldn’t be any problems. But I guess if you didn’t do everything correctly there is always a chance that they might need something extra. Money would be enough for them to allow it into the country so as long as you’re willing to pay there shouldn’t be a problem. If you don’t though then I guess you would have to pay to have them ship it back. Not sure what they would do with the car if you’re unable to pay for that too
Kian, thanks for the very informative video!
Thanks for sharing the great experience. What was the shipping cost like?
I rather not say the exact amount but it was a lot cheaper than selling the car and buying one with the same Kilometers in Germany.
Based on the damages done to your vehicle, would you still recommend the shipping company?
I would still recommend them yes. The repairs through the insurance company went very smoothly.
Thanks! Could you please share the link to the company you used?
For sure! The link to there website is:

Hey, is it possible to buy a car from Japan and bring it to Georgia? Can you tell me a little bit about that?
Hey, sorry but I don’t have any experience with that so I won’t be able to help you much there

Hey Kian. Is there any procedures one has to do with cibc before shipping a car?

Were you able to drive the car after it was shipped or did you have to re register it in that German province before driving it?!
