let me just start off by saying that it was a real pleasure learning more about you after having watched so many of your detailing videos on youtube. prior to your videos, i knew practically nothing about car washing and detailing. you've inspired me to purchase my very first pressure washer, foam cannon (tri nova), and a few other tools/brushes, which all arrive in the next day or two. can't wait to do the first wash on my very first purchase of a brand new car (2020 ford mustang gt premium) this weekend. keep the videos coming!

Great story Pan!!! I live in the U.S. but went to Montreal once for a wedding! You and I have alot in common coming from a tough parent household. I'm also OCD about cleanliness and organization...and I wear it as a badge of honor!!! Great idea for a video...adds a personal touch to your channel.

This is such a damn cool video. I love learning about where you came from. Frankly I got started enjoying cars because I started watching F1 but it gave me the bug to want to learn more about all aspects of cars, whether it was how they work/what makes them go, what differentiates between different cars or car technologies, etc. and it made me appreciate my little 2016 Mazda 3 a lot more and I've gotten the desire to start taking better care of it even more than I did before. It was my first "nice" and self-purchased car so I already appreciated it in that regard, but after learning about detailing and how you talk about your cars and other cars you help detail it has given me a new appreciation for cars and their incredible features. I've opted to at least purchase some beginning tools and materials to work with my own car and getting it back to factory-new after so many years of relative disregard and I'd like to start giving it the respect and attention it deserves.
Thanks so much for your videos, inspiration, and knowledge. Who knows, if I enjoy working with my car half as much as I expect to, maybe I'll be well-suited to starting my own detailing business. Again, much respect, and I'll be sure to keep it tight and keep it clean :)

I have always loved cleaning and detailing my vehicles since I got my first car. Actually before that I took pride in cleaning and detailing my bikes so that's where it started. I recently purchased a new vehicle and while looking for tips on cleaning and best products I found your videos. I subscribed to your YT channel and have learned so much. I purchased a rolling cart and stocked it with the products I feel will work best for my needs within my budget. My boyfriend just bought a new vehicle too so now I have taken charge of detailing both of our vehicles. As you say, it is very soothing and calming and I take pride in it. Thank you for sharing your tips and talents. Look forward to viewing new videos on the daily.

Wonderful video Pan. I love these "where did i come from" videos detailers do. One thing I'd like to ask. When you first started detailing when you 16 and over the next couple of years. What kind of mistakes did you make or lessons you learned the hard way. Like for me, rubbing a dark spot on cream leather onlt to realise to my horror, the dark spot wasnt dirt. It was actually the raw leather underneath and i had just cleaned off the pigment. Worst day of my detailing life.

Pan, really appreciate the background on your life. We all have a story, and it is awesome to learn about your past. As a detailing enthusiast who is a bit older than you, the information you share is invaluable. I find it relaxing and it allows me to do a few things; give back to family and friends with clean and protected vehicles, get a break from constant work pressure, and follow a passion for science. The chemistry is fascinating, and new products will continue keeping it interesting. Oh, and I finally organized my garage! Keep up the great videos.

I understand using the clay on the outside of windows is wonderful and I've seen how you say to do the inside, specifically the windshield. I have big, giant Honda windshields (Civic and Odyssey). They're quite the beast to clean, the inside in particular. The streaks drive me crazy! And it's so hard to reach! (I'll be checking out the Reach and Clean tool you recommended).

Oh goodness, I got a newer vehicle and it's the nicest I've ever had and knew almost nothing about cleaning a vehicle so I started searching on RUclips and found you.
Thanks for letting us know more of who you are and what made you what you are today. Your story so fits with the man we know from the videos. Unlike many popular personalities who we wonder what they are really like, there is no mysterious background with you.
One thing that'd be interesting to know, especially since all your journalism seems to be in French, is what is the split on how many French versus English viewers you have.
Also, you never mentioned what your "main" occupation is. You indicated detailing to be secondary (not necessarily in importance). But if you can afford $100,000+ cars, you must be doing something important.
Anyway, thanks again for taking your time to let us know more about who you are and what made you.

Great video Pan, many blessings to you and your family. a question if you can answer it, in this video you mentioned that you are a mechanical engineer and writer of articles in car magazines. Did you mention that auto detailing is not your primary job but you didn't clearly mention what your primary job is? Can you share with your audience?
Hi Roberto. I’m not a mechanical engineer. I studied biochemistry and molecular biology at the medicine faculty. Unfortunately, I can’t publicly share my daily job. Thanks for understanding.

Your videos have been very educational for me. As a fellow Montrealer (South Shore) I can relate to your comments of how harsh our winters are etc. Our family upbringing is very similar but the one thing you mentioned is the therapeutic benefits of detailing. The garage becomes your world with no worries inside. I have always been a car fanatic ( I have a couple of classic cars) but my detailing of them has taken me to a new level since watching your videos. You content is so pertinent to what I want to accomplish. I have done some friends and family cars and the positive feedback is very gratifying. I don’t have the intention of making it a full blown business ( I’m 64 and enjoying retirement ) but want to continue to develop new skills in detailing. Have you ever considered giving a weekend workshop or similar. I think a lot of people interested in detailing could benefit from your knowledge and experience. Thank you for making my interest in this area that much more competent. Nice to have a local celebrity!!!!!

I would like to start by saying that it's just incredible how far you have come! I'am your subscriber for a few years now! and i've been learning so so much things from you! you litteraly inspired me to buy my first car care products and some other ''good stuff'' :D to try them out on my car at least start somewhere and not being scared to fail, because practice makes perfect. I would watch your videos and keep learning and learning because no one else would teach me the way you do in your videos tutorials tips and trick and so forth... You just have something in you, something that spreads joy and positive energy from your content it's so enjoyable to watch and also entertaining! and funny! if i ever did something wrong in detailing cars i would always come back to your tutorials to learn from my misstakes. Your personality is also beautiful! I'm also one of those people that love when things are organized. It's just a feeling it has to be in a certain way otherwise you will not be satisfied :D . The way you explain things is amazing. Keep doing what you do Pan! You truly are an inspiration. Thank you for sharing your story with us. Love the videos and I love that you often make both French and English versions. I'm from AZ and I don't get many opportunities to practice French now that I don't travel to Montréal as often. It's nice to get great detailing information while getting a little Québécois French immersion at the same time.

I have the bug. Cleaning detailing . I enjoy racing cars. You are such a good guy and I am so glad I meet you and thank you for all your hard work. And like you my first car was a Tercel as will how funny. Mine was the funny green colors. Keep it tight and keep it clean. Me and you have a lot in common. I was in magazine to with my Ford Mustang I did the fist crane cam testing back when the 2006 3v mustang came out. Wow we definitely share the same passions. We should hang up. I am out of racing now but I love detailing and clean now I am 46 now. So nice to meet someone that has passions I like have.

@@PanTheOrganizer I am way far away I live in McKinney texas now . We are from Maryland . We been in texas for like 10years now . The wife wants to move farther up north again. She says we to far from family which we are. I never been out of America , hell I never even flown in a plane yet. My family is from Italy. I was born here in that states. But would love to travel and see other places. Maybe 1 day we can go to Canada wife said she’s wants to go there too. So I guess we will see. I never been to SEMA but I would love to go for sure. First... enjoy your channel immensely, been a 'car guy' since I built my first model car 1959 Pontiac Bonneville. They didn't even call it 'detailing' when I was obsessed with keeping my first car spotless (one year old 1964 Ford Galaxie 500XL, what a 'whale' of a car!)... and when my friend and I washed and waxed our '67 Firebirds weekly. Immigrant family for me also, so I 'get it'... different countries and different era. I came to the US in 1949, at two years old. I was on my seventh car by the time you were born!!!! Lithuanian parents escaping Communists after WWII. Have tried pretty much every auto sport... drag racer, TSD rallies, concours, autocross, track events. This old dog really enjoys learning your new tricks (and tips, etc...). Car guys start a 'path' then appear to follow this path life long... you apparently with BMW... me with Corvettes (a '66, an '84, an '03 and now a 2014). Living the lifestyle... winters in The Villages Florida, summers in Wisconsin. Able to enjoy the Corvette all year round!!! Thanks for sharing all your accumulated knowledge.
