- I am SOOOO ready for an adventure. So when we were invited to Seabrook, Washington to enjoy a beach house, I jumped at the chance. We spent about 4 days at the pacific coast enjoying a few hikes along the beach and some bird watching. The small town of Seabrook is so charming and I cant wait for the opportunity to visit again.

I wish I had spent more time with my parents but I was always working all over the world.They are gone now but have great memories of the time that we did spend together. It is good that you can spend this time with them although it was not planned but a blessing out of the blue. All the best!

My favorite video from you yet 😃 Maybe because I have been around that area. I stayed in Aberdeen for a night and then drove up the coast for a bit before turning inland to go into Olympic National Park. I remember going onto a beach that went on for miles not as windy for me though. There's so many places in and around Washington State that you can continue making great content on. So until we can travel more freely you can still provide us with awesome things to see. Thanks Ash 😊

Ash if you were a mermaid, you had to be the sweetest one ever. This was a sheer delight. I spy a sand dollar again :) Too bad didn't see a lighthouse. But absolutely enjoyed everything. I had to look up salmonberry, because the berry itself looked so much like a cloudberry, but the plant it grew on was much higher, like a rasberry. Turns out, they're all related species.

Awesome video Ashley. You went to a few of my favorite spots on the coast as we used to live in Grays Harbor. Seabrook is an amazing little community and went to a festival up there about 5 years ago. The wildlife refuge is da bomb. If you and your dad love birds, every year there is a Shorebird Festival that occurs in Grays Harbor in conjunction with a number of sponsors including the Hoquiam National Wildlife Refuge. The refuge, which is partner with the Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge outside Lacey, actually teaches a course on shorebirds in the Grays Harbor schools and then when they have the festival the school kids get to go out and see all the things they learned.
Lastly Westport is awesome as well, each year they have a huge jazz festival which is really nice.
This year with COVID a number of things in Grays Harbor are cancelled but next year for sure you should check out the Shorebirds festival, it’s quite an event. Lastly I love the beaches which go for miles in either direction from Ocean Shores and you can drive your car on them. Glad you had a great adventure with the family.

Washington is a beautiful state, I used to live in Tacoma. There is a small town nearby on Puget Sound called Gig Harbor that looks like a storybook village.

I am currently on vacation at Seabrook. We do an annual thing where we go see all the fire works at the quinault casino on 4th of July sadly their not doing it this year due to covid but it’s still real fun. I’m at the drift away house. if you are there try the pizza thier it’s so good. Nice 👍 vlog

Laura Elle the places I’ve been, they have you wait outside and will bring you what you need if you’re medically exempt. They can’t let you walk around in the store without a mask.

I stayed there last summer. It's pretty but kinda creepy in a stepford wife kinda way. I fully expected to accidentally walk in on a cult meeting. I also went to westport and was a much bigger fan of that town it was a real town not n Instagram set / cult meeting place
