Thank you for this Kelly, I've been considering upgrading from the CM600 and your video has helped me decide and go for the SDX900 which is on a great offer on Amazon at the moment. I've subscribed and will look forward to looking through your projects. Cheers, John
Hi John, Glad I could help! What do you like to create with your cutting machine? I love hearing how people use their machines because it's so varied some people, I talk to love using cardstock and others fabric.
Hi Kelly, I get the most satisfaction from cutting heat transfer vinyl to add graphics to my t-shirts, but use it for card making and even cutting our house name in vinyl for the wheelie bins 😂 I guess I’m an all round crafter from painting, woodworking, diy, linoprinting etc. I like to try many crafts but the only one I keep coming back to is sketching and painting.
Thank you for sharing this tutorial, I am getting my first scan n cut which is the sex 2250 next week, and I am really hoping I find it easy to use. I am not very tech minded!
Hi, I was unboxing a SDX900 in this video and this machine did not come with a scanning mat. Depending on the machine/package deal you're getting will determine if it comes with a scanning mat or not. You can purchase them separately.
Thank you for your video I like to know if can cut fabric. I got this machine as a present😊 and still in the box. Does the mat that coming with the machine can be use also for fabric
Hi I’m glad the video was helpful. To answer your questions, yes it can cut fabric, you will need a fabric support sheet, this goes on your mat. Your machine might have come with one, if not you can buy them. X
Hi, you can use the blade that comes with the machine but I have a blade that I only use for fabrics, in the same way, I only use my fabric scissors for fabric and my card making scissors for paper. also there is a fabric blade you can buy from various different websites. hope that helps.
Ive had mine nearly 2 years and haven't used it yet, your video is invaluable so thanks !!!
Glad it was helpful and I hope you have had a play xx
