Touhou 6 EoSD - Apparitions Stalk The Night [Cover By DAR] - 60fps

Time for a soft, light-hearted, rendition of-- no, wait a minute, what's this?!
Hey all, I'm back with some more Touhou! Shout-out to Megalith for requesting this track!
When I set out to record this, I was originally thinking about trying to make it sound softer, and more playful; like the original. However, shortly after I actually started to work on it, I was hit by the incredible urge to noodle around on my guitar!
After having a good jam, I realized that I still wanted to try and keep some of that light, playfulness of the original. In order to do that, I kept in the synths, flutes, and xylophone, rather than adding more guitars.
Aside from the addition of a fun guitar riff, I made some adjustments to the bass-line to accompany the new guitar parts. I also made the string-section a little more prominent, and added a very subtle choir to layer on top of it. Just boosting the strings really added a different kind of feeling to the track!
A funny little problem I had run into while working on this one was that the entirety of Stage 1 was shorter than the cover! Despite that, I tried the best I could to edit and stretch things out enough to fit for the video. Sure, I could've tried making the cover shorter, but I felt like this was the right length to make the song.
