If Voltorb and Electrode doesn't exist in the past, than we have to apply the same logic to other pokemon as well. Like Porygon, the nameless pokemons that got resurrected to become Raikou, Entei and Suicune, Ditto the clone Pokemon, Fossile pokemons, Spiritomb that got banned inside his stone or some modern Pokemon designs like Medieval inspired Escavelier and Corviknight.
It would make a lot of sense for them to consider this, but then again, you’re talking about the company that retconned a phone into ancient Japan. I really hope they make new forms for these types of Pokémon, but I can just as easily see them not doing it.
7:20 chimchar is only thought to be the “main” one because fans chose it more, but i think piplup is the main one because it is/was the most favored one in japan also, they have this thing going on called “project pochama” in japan(project piplup)

It doesn’t really make Since… Rowlet, Cyndaquil and Oshawott where just brought to The region recently, and having them just get a new Evolution right away without having hundreds of years to adapt to the changes in Hisui seems to go against most things Regional variants go by. Unless Arceus gives the power for them to get a new Evo in the story, I don’t think it’s happening. Also that would also bring up the plot hole of why don’t any starters that get brought to another region not get a new last Evo. I would love to be wrong!

The balls shown are called Temari, not Kemari. Kemari is a sport that uses other balls made of deerskin. These balls are stuffed with barley grains to give them shape. Temari on the other hand are made from Kimono scraps (hemp, linen, silk), not bamboo

My guess is that Voltob will get a Ghost type baby form. It can evolve into Hisuian, wooden grass-type Voltorb if you give it a Hisuian Pokéball as an item. In later games, it evolves to kantonian Voltorb if you give it a modern Pokéball.
I don't think people understand that "Football" is an all-encompassing term for multiple sports. What Europeans know as "European Football" Is Soccer officially, however mad that they get at the term; there is also thinks like Australian Football, American Football, Kemari, and Rugby. All of which is defined as "Football"

voltorb, electrode, and sudowoodo are all just mimics. when u walk up to them in Gen 1 and expect them to b items (the sprites look the same for the ball boiz) u instead get a battle. the same was with trees when u expect to cut them and they wiggle instead. then u get the watering can and get a battle with tree boi. the designs havent aged well sense u no longer pick up items shaped like voltorbs and the same with sudowoodo :3

Empoleon has already been shown not to have a hisuian form, the starters could have hisuian forms because they haven’t shown their evos yet. Also they were imported from other regions so you probably can’t catch them or their other regional starters in Hisui
Idk, I think it will be a pre evolution. It wouldn't sense in the game for it to be "voltorb" if it's a grass type or something. You are making the pokedex for the first time you wouldn't call a grass ball a "voltorb" if anything itll be a normal type ball that eventually went into a pokeball or a ghost that possessed them later on

Empoleon has already been shown not to have a hisuian form, the starters could have hisuian forms because they haven’t shown their evos yet. Also they were imported from other regions so you probably can’t catch them or their other regional starters in Hisui

Idk, I think it will be a pre evolution. It wouldn't sense in the game for it to be "voltorb" if it's a grass type or something. You are making the pokedex for the first time you wouldn't call a grass ball a "voltorb" if anything itll be a normal type ball that eventually went into a pokeball or a ghost that possessed them later on
