This past weekend was nothing short of thrilling as myself, Dylan, Jake, and our friend Cole embarked on a car-centric adventure in Seattle, Washington. Known for its vibrant car culture, Seattle promised us an unforgettable experience filled with remarkable vehicles, exciting events, and memorable moments.
Our first stop on Saturday was an exhilarating filming session with the guys from SerialNine at the port. SerialNine is renowned for its exceptional modifications and unique approach to car customization. We were fortunate to capture stunning shots of their cars in action, showcasing their unparalleled craftsmanship.
After an action-packed day, we decided to surprise the local car community by hosting a pop-up meet just a few blocks from our Airbnb. It was incredible to witness the gathering of like-minded enthusiasts, all coming together to share their love for cars. Every time we host a pop-up meet we are humbled by just how many people come out to visit us.
To cap off the night, we embarked on a night drive through downtown Seattle, immersing ourselves in the city's captivating lights. Sunday greeted us with anticipation as we embarked on a journey to not just one but two incredible car events: Old School Reunion and Wekfest Seattle.
Old School Reunion, a celebration of retro automobiles, took us back in time with an impressive showcase of vintage cars. From vibe-filled Japanese classics to timeless European cars, every vehicle exuded history and character. We had the pleasure of connecting with passionate car owners, exchanging stories and admiring the meticulous restoration work that went into these automotive treasures.
Next on our itinerary was Wekfest Seattle, a gathering that showcased the best of the modern modified car scene. The event was a visual feast, featuring various meticulously modified cars that pushed boundaries and set trends. It was incredible to witness the level of creativity and dedication that car enthusiasts poured into their projects. Engaging with fellow attendees and discussing the intricate details of their builds was an enriching experience that truly connected us with the larger car community.
Our weekend in Seattle was an unforgettable adventure, steeped in the rich tapestry of the city's car culture. From filming the stunning creations of SerialNine to hosting a pop-up meet and exploring the car events of Old School Reunion and Wekfest Seattle, every moment was filled with excitement, passion, and a deep appreciation for the automotive world.
The opportunity to connect with fellow enthusiasts and forge new friendships with like-minded individuals only amplified the experience. Seattle's thriving car scene proved to be a vibrant and welcoming community, where car lovers from all walks of life could come together to celebrate their shared passion.

Thank you for the Japanese subtitles👍
This video is awesome. Almost as awesome as cigarettes, cigarettes will never steal your canon t70 or sonic poster. Cigarettes will never blame their mental instability on you. Cigarettes will never harass you or ask if you still love them. God i love cigarettes.
Mashallah brother 🙏
Never heard someone be so passionate about cigarettes 💀
I smoke and I must say, if I quit I would have lots of disposable income to buy any of that stuff lol.

Amazing weekend 💚
Car culture is not a hobby it is a way of life. The passion for car culture for me has been the same since I was 16yrs old to now as a 46yr old with a kid. What has changed is the amount of money I can dump into my cars now that I have a kid. I'm now buying my daughter a car instead of buying myself car parts or another set of wheels or another project car. I raised my daughter in car culture taking her to car meets, car shows and car races. Bringing your child along with you in car culture is how I never left.
You guys packed so much into one weekend!! Fun to be virtually along for the ride 🙌🏼

I owe you guys an apology.
I've watched so many of your videos and many of them several times since I stumbled across the channel last summer and I have only just realised that I had never hit subscribe.
Would you mind Checkpoint stickers on cars that probably ain't your style? Both Japanese
No need to apologize but really appreciate your support! We’re thrilled to see our stickers on any cars, Japanese or not.

Also when it comes to KA's I got one word for you genesis... if the KA24DE is good enough for Tomei then it's good enough for you. Finally no one builds Hondas like Seattle/Washington.

@15:42 I believe it's a honda mb
We had a lot of those here in Holland
And I don't understand the disrespect on the rep wheels it's not like everyone has money to spend 3000€/$ or what ever on wheels
And it's not like no "real" wheel company ever replicated of other brands
Imagine thinking all real wheels cost $3000 😂 not to mention clearly these guys aren’t afraid of spending money if they’ve built beautifully restored classic cars
Imagine thinking you HAVE to spend that money for reals. Reps shit on the commutiry
Look im ngl. I think its goofy as fuck to be worried about rep wheels. Lol. Yall are scared of pot holes. I beat the shit out of my r33 and just fix it and keep it clean. Why be scared to damage a $1500 wheel when I can keep 4 extra wheels around with tires for under 1k??
I mean if your cool with your car looking like a cheap pile of shit then power to you but some people care about style and respect of running quality parts. I hate that people think real wheels are so much more than reps you just are lazy and dont look if you cant find them 🥂
Imagine thinking people get real wheels because they’re “afraid” of reps. I’m sure your R33 is a nice car, don’t you feel like it deserves nice wheels? Or do you wear rep Nikes and buy all your tools at harbour freight?
Good video, great channel but the one thing I don't appreciate is the dishing of cars because of wheels.
You said at the start older guys still keeping their passion for cars. One thing about those older guys is they have a lot more responsibilities. Not just kids, they also will have rent or a mortgage on a house to pay and everything else that comes with it. We aren't all wealthy with endless amounts of money to throw at our car..
There's far too much snobbery on RUclips which I think isn't cool.
money is probably not a problem if these guys have done a restoration and engine swap and fresh paint built to the nines like mentioned but sacrificed the wheels at the very end ?
Our remarks about the replica wheels are far from snobbery, just an observation about a trend we spotted that doesn’t seem to line up with the rest of the high levels of quality we witnessed at that event.
When it comes to vintage cars like these, authentic small diameter wheels are rarely all that much more expensive than their brand new out of box replica counterparts, so the conversation is hardly about what people can and cannot afford.
It feels like the reps on old restorations has been a consistent choice for years.
I don’t think it’s snobbery but more a philosophy. The fun part about holding a microphone is you get to share your thoughts. I happen to agree with what Alex was saying.
I am one of those people that has grown-ish responsibilities and is still into cars. You aren’t expected to adhere to my world view of real wheels but also, there’s no rush when building a car. You can take your time and do what matters to you.
So the bigger question is, why don’t real wheels matter to the old school restoration crowd?
Saving for 4 months to buy genuine >
Even saving for a year or 2 to have higher quality wheels >
Don’t cut corners, simple as that.
Best video good things cars trucks drift yeah!
I'm 51 driving a cambered is300 with grandkids. 😅😎🧑🦳
keep going!
