Thank you SO very much! 😃 My light fixture from Lowes had no manual (I guess electricians don't need one), so I almost gave up until I searched my go-to for how tos: RUclips - and here you are! With your help, I replaced my front porch fixture in 2+ hours. I appreciate your video VERY much!
Thank you for leaving us such an encouraging comment. We’re so glad you were able to install your light fixture. More to come so stay tuned and take care 😊
EXTREMELY HELPFUL!!! When I went looking for a video to show me how to change out my porch light fixture, it just so happened that you were installing the same one that I bought!! Thank you so much for this video it was exactly what I needed!! 😁👍🏻
Looks really nice! I like how you say what things are called. I have trouble knowing what to buy at a hardware store because I don't know the names of the parts. So how many people are needed? I live alone .... I guess I need a friend to help.
@@SilverLiningDayDreams grounding needs a path back to the panel even if you have a fault it's not going to trip I am.assuming the house has a couple of decades on its belt you could ground you circuit by finding the first device after the breaker and putting a gfci receptecle on it. It has a computer on it that follows the current entering and leaving both the hot and neutral
Sorry I missed your comment. Makes sense to me but I wanted to run it by one of my electrician friends. I’ll post an update when I see him. It’s always great to get feedback for our viewers to see. I definitely want accurate information for our subscribers. Thanks 😊

Great way to motivate a fix with pending return!!! Love the new fixture and easy instructions!
Thanks. We really did put a deadline on it. Combined with the warmer weather it made the install happen!

All the little things that you had to do, for example the nipple length and having to get an extender for it. These were excellent to know!!
Your welcome! So Glad our video helped! Enjoy the new light fixture and take care 😊
Too funny 😂. Helpful video
🙂😁🤣. You have to have a sense of humor in life! Thanks for watching!
Thank you for making this video. It helped us out
Awesome, glad we could help!

Thank you!
Installing a light with your significant other is like a double edged sword. It can go either way, good or bad 😂
Take care! 😊
Helpful video 👍
That’s great, thank you!! 👍🏼
Learned a lot. Thank you for this video
You’re welcome! Always happy to help!
My 12 year was in the room when I watched this and couldn't help but giggle with all the nipple talk!
😂😂😂 It was totally unintentional. This is a family channel.
Great info
Thank you! So glad we found one that matched our inside lights. :)
Great info!
Thanks 👍
Great video! My current fixture is a 1 bulb and the replacement is a 2 bulb. Is the wiring setup going to be the same?
If I’m understanding you correctly it shouldn’t matter; however someone with eyes there should make that call 😊
I'm trying to remove the glass to clean the inside the light fixture
Definitely a hassle taking it apart to do so, but we’ll worth it! We typically clean them twice a year!
It's not wire. It's electric string.
Still working like a charm! ☘️
Sorry, but you lost me at "can't find my tester." Please show yourself testing the wires!
👍🏼
This is not how a ground wire works
K How about giving your comment value by kindly explaining why
