@@michael7770 Mine served me well for 6 years but had been slowing down a bit in the last year or so and is now no longer being supported so it was time for an upgrade.
i own same green imac but its m1 with 16gb ram and it is struggling but oh well not much i can do with the current prices im getting m4 max macbook pro next year since it is a year of savings but atleast it will last me years not under a year till i struggle to use it because it got nerfed or apps are far more demanding on background my ram usage with just apps in background is almost full 16gb ram, i dont think i could get another one again even if it had pro or max chip im getting tired of lack of tehnology and power, while monitor and speakers are top tier im getting sick of the colour it is so light and annoying even in dark.
I've had two 27" iMacs since I first got into Macintosh computers (most recent being a 2019 Intel model), and I just have no strong desire to get any new computer until they make a not-insanely-expensive 27"+ option. They want people like me to either deal with it and downgrade the screen in a big way, or shell out for a $1000 computer AND a $1600 monitor. Holding out until it's abundantly clear that they're not doing an iMac Pro or whatever the rumors suggest.
I hear you I have a 27"iMac and feel the same way, hopefully they will bring it back but then again the price will prob be high. Saddly I might just move away from apple the limitations they are putting on their devices is ridiculous.
Hey bud do you think the usb to USB’s cable and a cheaper monitor would do well compared to like a NVDA second monitor or LG ultra fine that’s definitely compatible?
I just wanted to say thank you one more time 😂 i maxed out on the specs for my wife because she had the 2020 macbook pro with the touch bar and it was the base model and now its super slow. We go to pick up the imac today 😊. I might have to buy a new nike watch band when we go to apple
So I'm thinking of selling my 27 inch 2020 i7 imac with 72gb and 512gb ssd for a m3 imac 24gb 1tb or 2tb not sure yet, is it worth it or should I keep my imac? I don't want something what could be slower
@@romella_karmey which specs did you buy? I also, bought an M3 iMac with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD and it’s connected to my 48TB G-RAID Shuttle 8 storage.
You show single core to be about 2200 on the M3 iMac, but all the other reviews show it to be 3100 in single core results. This also includes the notebooks as well as the iMac M3.
Buying the cheapest MacBook Air is still better value. Being able to move your Mac around is simply more convenient for most people. Although that screen size is nice if you want to have documents side by side or watch and edit video full screen.
Yo, have you seen the new iMacs? They look sick, but there's one major issue-you can't upgrade them. Unlike the older models, where you could rip everything out and upgrade it, these new ones are super expensive and not customizable. You can make the older mac more powerful than the new imacs
Too bad apple couldn't care less about compatibility with major camera companies or real innovation that could create a whole new open source market that would rocket us into the future where anything is possible. Greed is the cause that always falls flat. It's the way of the world right ? We say we love humanity but we hate humans. There's not enough to go around so gather all you can and hold on tight. There's claw marks on everything.
Hmmm...."Family computer"...what exactly is that? In 2023 a household only has one computer? Really? Maybe in the early 90s but not in 2023. The iMac is still the M1-chip that blew the competition away in 2020.

I have a 27” Intel- have never been happy with it.

I take the 24GB 1TB model to replace a 27" E 2012 32GB which runs 24/7/365 for more than a decade now without any flaws.
I have the green m 1 version it replaced my 2017 27 I Mac the 27 iMac booted up super slow this boots up so quick
Damn. Now I think I should upgrade.
I got the silver one with 24gigs of ram and 2 TB SSD
Love my first iMac silver, 16gb ram and 512 gb. I didn't fully spec it out because I always replace my tech in like 2 or 3 years lols
Can I ask who makes the speakers you have? i am presuming they are speakers or are they lights?

This iMac your doing a review, is this the iMac 24 inch 2023 two ports?
Like you do you know you can simply buy an adapter with a load of ports for 30 quid. You don’t need more ports at the back.
Great review. Can assist to rsearch whe.n m3 imac USB C releasing ?
Very informative! I got the 4 port version in Yellow to replace my 2019 I Mac.This version is so much faster! A great upgrade.
Thanks for your help just bought one , will let you know how it goes
I have an intel i3 imac from 2010. lol Would be a huge upgrade.

A 2008 iMac running Tiger is fabulous!

Apple silicon Macs are much faster than Intel ones.
The Base Model is perfect for me to do just basic stuff like surf the net, and etc in the room ya! 🤔🖥️
If u want 27inch monitor then purchase the studio monitor …
I wish it was $1299, base cost $1699 in Canada 😮
2000 in Philippines with the 8-10 core gpu 256gb one
$1,300 is USD price

Mac for work, PC for gaming
You can have best of both worlds in a windows pc 😅
