Lots of great tips in this. I was stuck going up and down from diamond to plat, like a rollercoaster, so got to see a lot of the differences in the ranks. You can instantly tell if you're in Plat vs Diamond just by how your teammates rotate and cover on D, how they challenge, etc. I have found that just committing to defense and not leaving my teammate alone has consistently kept me in diamond more than anything. Lots of 1-0 games, or 2-1 games in diamond. Patience really counts, as in not committing on a maybe goal that will put you out of position bad, and just playing safer until you catch your opponents in a weak defensive position. Great video
Which modes? I bounce from Diamond to gold in 3 competitive modes. I don't notice the differences you've mentioned. At least you didn't mention any specifically, just broad categories. But I don't notice them. I see improvements in car control. Positioning. Quality of plays. Reading plays. But diamond seems very inconsistent. I have lots of trouble in Diamond. Some opponents are smarter than me in everyway, read the play better...and also have mechanics and speed. Attempting lots of flip resets and ceiling shots(I save these easier some reason) and scoring easily with double taps, pass plays, difficult angle shots and bounce reads.

@@7dayspking Well I'm D1 right now. Idk what happen but one month after this vid I climbed the whole plat rank. But now I'm stuck again lol, I'm deranked to plat sometimes. I'm between plat 3 div 3 and d1 div 3 tbh and almost 1 month on that rank I can't reach d2 haha...

@@7dayspking Lol that's a difference like 200 mmr. Maybe you just need a good partner or you are throwing without being aware of it (no offense) I only play 3v3 and 2s. And if I need to say something about how I play, I would say I'm more offensive player, I'm very poor on defensive plays tbh... And right now I'm practising air roll so that's another reason why I'm not focused on my ground plays and not improving at all. But it's really really funny practising air roll that I can't contain myself of doing it xD (not pretty well tho)
@@schwarz8701 Was talking about 2v2, 3v3 & 1v1. Not just 2v2. I was trying, no throwing. Ive learned the cause of some of those inconsistencies over past few seasons. My awareness of what was happening and what I was doing could vary between games, I've found a method to reduce that. I commentate predictions where ball could go and what I'll do. I don't think I'd struggle in gold or low plat games anymore as of a month ago. Before then though, I still could have. As my playstyle has changed I've had trouble with different kinds of teammates. At the moment I seem to go from top of plat 2-Top of Diamond 2. I notice there's games where I can't read what my teammates are doing, I end up going for the same ball as teammates. I think they're going to go for a ball and they don't. They might miss a ball I thought they were hitting or hit the ball in a different direction. Most common is when I dive to save shots on net. I go for every ball on our net, if there's also any teammates there, we're both going for it and I often bump them.
it takes some practice but it will lead you to have a little better control of the ball in the long run. i personally play on 280 which is a little higher then most pros

@@lionmc2196 ya the report system in the game is really bad and since the game is free people just make new accounts if they are banned. I think their needs to be a further step with creating accounts. Maybe linked to a phone number or something
This is just great. I mostly play with the same teammates (mostly friends) and I think not being able to shadow defense or shoot the ball on target is holding me back. Do you have discord? Do you mind watching some of my replays and giving me tips if you notice mistakes I dont? That would make my day.
