Couldn’t disagree with you more. First, the cords their guitarist came out with, so simplistic and yet so catchy. Immediately grabs you and holds on. Then that voice. A lot of singers can reach down and belt it out, and he can too. But the control he has over his voice, very unique at that, when he’s not belting it out is what’s really amazing. So many singers can’t do that. His sound comes from somewhere deep inside, like he swallowed his instrument. Did you read the lyrics? Poetry. Open to so many interpretations. Therefore, open to so many. Powerful song.
