Grace will never question a day in her life how loved she is. I love seeing you and her interact with each other, as well as Stephen. She is just so loved 🥲
Sierra is SUCH a good mom! I don't know if someone is giving her some great advice, or it's instinct, but speaking as a mom of grown kids and former kindergarten teacher I'd say she get an A+!
As a fellow rock & mineral nerd, please show the entire process. Pretty please 😁 I've loved & collected rocks my whole life. Why have I never thought to buy a tumbler?! I'd love a better explanation of the process.
For the bruschetta: try roasting the bread in a pan with olive oil and then cut open a fresh glove of garlic and rub it on the bread. Even better than putting the garlic into the tomato mixture in my opinion :)
@@Magnum1861 I know I was thinking the same thing. I once had a waitress correct me when I said Brusketta and I was like "IM SAYING RIGHT, I SPEAK ITALIAN!!!" haha it's the ultimate tiny annoyance.
I think I've commented this before but I love when we get Stephen's POV on the vlog! "Scrambled egg with some shenanigans in it" is an absolute gem lol
Did it really say that? Thats what came up on my closed captions but the captioning folks mess up alot and I figured that shenanigans was surely a mess up. Haha
I absolutely LOVE how you explain everything to Grace. I did that too when my daughter was tiny. I honestly think you are doing a better job than I did with my daughter. The rule in my house was no baby talk. They are humans, talk to the like one.
Totally worth it. By 2 my daughter could speak in full sentences and we really didn't go through the "what's that" phase because we already explained everything to her.
Everyone thought we were so weird about not allowing them to do that to our baby. We made a few fun exceptions because they eased baby exhaustion tension and made him laugh too. Hiccups became hicamupmups. We made a little song and everything. He still fakes hiccups just to pretend to be horrified when we sing the hiccamup song. But he never heard baba for bottle, or things like that. He was STILL pretty slow to talk, but we realized as he got better at it its mostly because he refuses to say something if he's not SURE he has it right. I'd hear him whispering words to himself that he was practicing if he thought we weren't close enough to hear. And every time he said a new word, it would be really clear, and in correct context. Like, always. He never said mama or daddy while pointing at someone else, or mixed up spoon and fork, or anything like that. His first full sentence wasn't until he was almost 2.5 and I was carrying him to bed and he was saying no no no, then as clear as day, sounded like a 10 year talking, ordered me to put him down. Like, with emphasis on down, and everything. Looked me dead in the eyes to show me he was serious. His body language has also always really matched whatever he's saying. (I did not put him down, but we sat on the floor by his bed with him in my lap while we discussed why it was so important for him to go to bed now instead of later. He eventually agreed but was still grumpy). NOW he is 3.5 and at least half his vocabulary is 3 or more syllable words and he's definitely caught up to his age in overall verbal communication. We were in Walmart several months back and had a spirited debate/argument with him over what made a clock a clock instead of a watch. And we feel very justified in never giving in to the full on baby talk, or letting other people do it with him.
Here in Belgium there's a hospital right on the beach where people from all over go to heal from all kinds of lung issues. It's been there for a long time and is still running. There is absolutely truth to the ocean air being good for your health. It's clean!
How good is having a garden! Fresh food right outside your house :) you should pop a few herb plants (ie basil) in where there is space so you always have fresh herbs on hand for recipes :)
It's so fun to see you rock tumbling again! During quarantine when I was watching a lot of vlogs, my family would refer to you as "that rock tumbling RUclipsr" and all this time later, the name still sticks lol
We definitely need more Mornings with Steve. As always, Grace is as sweet as she can be. And I love watching Grace interact with you and Stephen, it’s so adorable.
I have to be THAT Italian 😂 the ch in bruschetta is pronounced as a k! Awesome vlog, love the longer ones and love seeing little grace grow up so fast 🥰
In regards to the "fruits of my labor" comment you made in your cooking segment: zucchini AND tomatoes are technically fruits! So your pun was accurate!
Please do show each step with the rocks!!! I love the rock tumbling content lol satisfying honestly. Little Grace is growing.. Getting more confident in walking.
Sierra you are a true role model to everyone. Seeing how Grac's personality is so happy and kind hearted does show that she is well loved. Also being at the ocean has many good medical benefits as well as mental health benefits. I suffer from sinus issues and use steroid nose spray but the salty water from the ocean always clears me right up not to mention gives me a positive boost in the mental health department.
I have a LOT of allergies to things that are green, or that have fur. My asthma gets really bad. Every time I'm at the beach I'm fine and people are like, the beach is so healing! And I'm like, ....that's because theres nothing here I'm allergic too. It's the only place where the only problem is smokers. So it's not the beach or water specifically. And I think about that every time I hear anyone else say the beach is healing or healthy. Your example makes complete sense. 🙂
Im loving the rock content 🤩 not as much of a rock entusiast but have done some geology in college and it is just such nice and wholesome content to watch somehow ☺️
Also all this rock polishing content makes me wanna get a rock tumbler again. I used to go to town as an 8 to 12 year old. I always was and still am collecting cool rocks lol
Here for the rock content! Suggestion is to use a different brand of grit you’ll get better results. Also do an hour of soap tumbling between grits with ivory soap or borax. Definitely keep us updated through the process!
I have high arches too. Has Steve ever tried having a Podiatrist make him a pair of orthotics? They are better than the ones you can purchase at a running store. Also they can be expensive but it will be cheaper than surgery.
made squash and hallumi fritters the other day with my own squash. The creme fraiche and caramelized onion with chessar sause was great to it. and potatos in owen. So nice to eat what you grown yourself
10:31 There is truth in it :) The minerals in the air have many benefits to your health. So much so that in Poland we have salt towers (Graduation Tower- Tężnia in pl ) spread around the country in spa's. Salty water drops from top to bottom releasing all the minerals in the air and people just sit around and inhale. This is a very old old method. Been around since XVII-XVIII.
Abundance of love and cherry tomatoes-how wonderful Sierra. That should be on your next t-shirt. Hope you have made the famous Tik Tok feta and cherry tomatoes with pasta at least once a week-sooo good and so many variants.
So I had to look it up when you mentioned feeling better by the ocean because I feel the same way. Apparently there have been studies that show it actually can help both physical and mental health. It seems like it’s a combo of things like the white noise sounds stimulating seratonin, sunshine, the grounding effect walking barefoot on the earth has on all the nerve endings in our feet, the effect of the color blue on our brains, and even the negative ions in the air. It kind of seems like it’s a perfect storm of “feel good” things!
I never knew stephen did OTF!! I started in April and I love it SO much. I’m also a power walker for the thread and totally agree. Especially during the all outs walking at a 10+ incline is DEATH ☠️
I love your vlog channel! I was thinking how you said it is just a lot of time doing main channel videos and about taking a break. I think most people would agree that we would love your content even if all done more informally. Maybe I’m just biased but I love your try on type videos so I hope we maybe see low key versions on here! 😊
I was walking my dog this morning through the fields by my house and saw that they have begun harvesting the onion's and my head went straight to "This would be a great addition to Sierra's garden" 💡

I LOVE when Steve shares stuff like his alarm logic on his phone!
Grace's curles? Morning with Steve? Gardening? Rock Tumbling? 10/10 vlog :)
YES!
Couldn’t agree more!!!
Was I the only one mindblown when Stephen started talking about the shortcuts on his phone? 😂 Great vlog!! ❤️

I think she went more into the process during vlogmas last year!
For the bruschetta: try roasting the bread in a pan with olive oil and then cut open a fresh glove of garlic and rub it on the bread. Even better than putting the garlic into the tomato mixture in my opinion :)
100% yes! Minced garlic has a completely different flavor than fresh
That’s exactly how we do it in Italy 😁
Ok… I’m not the only one. Brus-ketta
@@Magnum1861 I know I was thinking the same thing. I once had a waitress correct me when I said Brusketta and I was like "IM SAYING RIGHT, I SPEAK ITALIAN!!!" haha it's the ultimate tiny annoyance.

"Scrambled egg with some shenanigans in it.". I'm going to say that from now on. And that bruschetta--I will be right over!
